3051]'s letter:
Dear Mr. Cayce:
I was at Reilly's last Saturday and missed you by an eye
lash! I was heart broken and then to add insult to injury
I again missed you on Monday or Tuesday which ever it was.
I particularly wanted to introduce to Norvell, he gave a
lecture at the McAlpine Hotel Tues. at eleven. I thought
you might look him over with some idea of helping you in
your work. He also has a tremendous following, particularly
California and has been advisor to the stars there for over
ten years. I didn't think it fair to try and find you tho I
was tempted, tho what a temptation.
I hear that nothing can be sent to a prisoner unless it is
sent from the source at publisher. They are afraid of codes
or marked passages, that might place escapes etc. Therefore
I wondered if you couldn't send Mr. [
3530] our Bulletin each
month. He'd love to follow our work since he can't follow
his own at the moment. This Feb. issue is particularly good.
You might add anything you thought he might like to read.
You understand how it must be for him, there are no letters
only from one of the family and the same applies to visitors.
It might be addressed to Sing Sing and they would forward it
to the little farm place they sent him. Let me know what you
can do. It would be wonderful if they allowed him to write
you but I guess that is expecting too much. A letter about
your work would mean so much.
Now for me, hang on to your hat! You know how disappointed
I was over not having my readings but I thought there might
be a blessing there, I have it. About a month ago I had a
prompting from my subconscious to stop THE ZYMENOL and to do
certain things in regard to diet. To stop in the middle of
a bottle is foreign to my disposition and then I had tried
so many times to give up the drug on [
2982]'s insistence
with very bad effects. This time I didn't hesitate nor was I
afraid of ill effects. Lo and behold, I had instant effects
and I might add it is almost 100% perfect. I have had a bit
of trouble, if you could call it that, when my husband didn't
call me in the morning, thinking to do me a favor by allowing
me to sleep. However since I'd miss that day as a result,
I'd be alright the next with a little extra effort, perhaps
a small baby enema to help BUT no hemorrhages and no ill
effects.
The half bottle is still in my frigidaire and I had two
bottles left of the case my husband bought. These two I
took up to Reilly's and gave to my masseuse who has the same
trouble BUT hasn't gotten about having a reading yet. It's
like some wonderful dream, I'm still not used to it yet, each
day I marvel anew and each day I almost wonder if it won't
stop and I'll be back where I started.
Now I must get after the eyes as the reading said I would be
able to take off the glasses for some years yet. I almost
weakened and got stronger lenses as I couldn't see to sew
with the ones I have nor read at night and not very long in
the day time either. Then too, they have started to burn,
sting and water and that, my dear, isn't pretty. I am an
example to my husband, unfortunately and also to a lot of
others. It is a hard lot, so if they expect to sprout wings
and be perfect, I'll have to do it, as the saying goes, the
customer is ALWAYS right.
I'm so light and happy at the moment, it wouldn't surprise me
a bit if I really flew away this minute. I must write [
3414]
and tell her, she too is waiting for me to say, we have
triumphed and we HAVE. [
2982] is so delighted and [
3436]
doesn't know yet whether to believe me or not, he is waiting
for time to enter in. But I'm so very happy and most
grateful to you, it goes beyond words.
That Bulletin is something out of this world, everyone is
raving about it. It gave me such a lift, I felt as if I
was transported to some mountain peak.
Do you think I ought to let the Physical ck. go for awhile
and concentrate on the Spiritual and Mental for the answer
to why the eyes are not seeming to respond?? With your
experience you know best. Don't forget to advise me.
Saw [
2982] last nite and she tells me [
2981] may take up an
offer to work out at the west coast, the company offered more
money and will move them out. Now you said there would be
upheavals and earthquakes so do you think it wise to allow
them to go. [
2982]'s or [
2981]'s reading said nothing
about their not going. It only said wherever they stood
was hallowed ground. What now?
[
3436] is waiting for a date for his reading so he can ask
about WHEN and HOW he'll find a buyer for his interest in the
firm, also WHERE would be appropriate to know. He'd have to
have a just price as the business now that they have built it
up and have a reputation that's the best is a gold mine. It
must hurt him after all his years of hard work and effort to
give it up just when it is paying out. However the new tax
takes some of the gilt off the edges, it bites in deeply as
the partners are in the highest brackets.
Your mail must have piled up in your absence so I'll sign off
for the moment take the best care of yourself, whatever would
we do without you?? Try to write soon and do let me know the
news
With a heart full of love from both of us [
3436] and [
3051]

3051]'s letter:
Dear Mr. Cayce:
I'm on my way to Reilly's but want to get a line off to you
before I leave and thank you for your date for our readings
in June. That's the twentieth.
You can't begin to realize how much I appreciate this as I'm
just hanging on, marking time till I get some information why
my eyes have not only NOT responded but have become worse.
I've had to give up a lot because of them as I won't let an
oculist say the readings won't help. He's been trying to get
[
3436] to MAKE ME have my glasses changed to some nice fancy
one about an inch thick and when they are no longer adequate
he refuses to answer what follows.
We have our hotel reservations and train down, I hope we
won't have to walk back. We are coming down a few days
before the Congress opens just to visit. [
3436] wondered,
because of the heat, if it couldn't be held a month sooner
next year?
I'm enclosing some articles I gathered, one about the
painting [...] found and I thought you might be interested.
I do hope you'll feel up to the five readings in one day.
There are two for [
3436] and three for me. They ganged up
because twice caught you when you decided to come to New
York, however you know best.
Hope you are not "over doing" and taking good care of
yourself so you will enjoy the Congress rather than have it
a hardship. I do hope your son will be on hand to complete
things, [
3435] would like to meet him.
Best love from [
3435] and I and do your "stuff"!
