My dear Mr. Cayce:-
On the last day of the Congress, you asked me to write a
letter, reminding you that the first project of the new
secretary, was to go thru the files for information on
the subject of Hay Fever.
Knowing that there are thousands of people in the United
States who are miserable with this disease, the later part
of the summer, I am sure that any light on this subject would
be welcomed, and any health suggestions given, would be tried
by many. I am not among those afflicted ones, but my husband
[
5395] is, and therefore it comes close to me.
May I take this opportunity to express to you, to Mrs. Cayce,
and to the members of your office staff, my deep appreciation
of the Congress. You were all so patient in meeting us
all, and in answering our many questions. It was indeed a
satisfaction to know Miss Wirsing and the others, and to have
that personal touch, which will mean much whenever I write a
letter to any of you.
There was great inspiration there for all of us, and a spirit
of dedication not often found in any group. So again I say
"Thank You" for all that you and the others have done in this
fine work.
I find myself often thinking of your little story of the two
women who found themselves in Heaven, looking for a Home.
Well, perhaps, since the 13th Congress, St. Peter has
received quite a number of new shingles!
With every good wish, I am
Sincerely yours, [
