Dear Hugh Lynn
I was glad to hear from you. I think things were much
clearer since talking to you. All most of us desire is that
the most good can come to the most people.
Very little has come my way as to the plans, you may have
in mind, - but I think I can see the way in which I can best
help, and that is the main thing.
With this mail I am sending you "WHEN NERO WAS DICTATOR,"
at the request of Mrs. Graham of New Mexico. She graciously
consented to let me take my time reading it, (HA HA) and I
have worked pretty hard over some NOTES, which I now have for
reference. It ties in with what you were talking about I
think. The teachings coming from Chicago, and from the
Universalist Emergents. I should like you reactions if I
may to the part where the Seer of the ANCIENT WISDOM talks
with Saint Paul, and Saint Paul's reaction and statement
of the Christian religion.
If I read Dr. Kuhn [Alvin Boyd Kuhn] aright, and others, and
also This PERFECT WAY, (which I have fallen by the way, with)
the trouble with Christianity, began with the very Saint
Paul's consciousness about it, and therefore very far back.
The Council of Nicea, and other didn't help it any.
But there are always the records of JESUS sayings and
teachings, which I feel we should and will have to go back
to. It seems to me that this book is a distinct contribution
to the literature on the subject of early Christianity.
Now one thing very personal.
A long, long time ago, when [
3178] and I were shortly
married, and therefore very new in occult study, we went
to a medium in Washington. Much has been said about her.
She charges prices, and I mean, and is very busy, the GREAT
and near great and very few of the common stuff, go to her,
and I don't to this day see how or why we parted with so
much cash to see what she had to offer. BUT.
- among other things she said I had the same ability she had,
and told me that she could not really read for me, and that
I simply could not go on in office, with the "gift," or
whatever, because I couldn't keep at my work. I told her I
could and intended to and did, for that matter. "Well," she
said, "you are going to write a book." That was not news to
me, for I've always hankered.
This book will be called, "THE RIVER FLOWS ON," she told me.
I have always been on the lookout for RIVERS. First came
from VA Beach, "THERE IS A RIVER," and do you remember what
you put in our guest book, Hugh Lynn? "The River is still
flowing." It was another of those sign posts we were
talking about.
And while I am at it, I want to tell you that you are growing
spiritually, like I never saw, anything like it.
Honest! [

We would like to see you when you come up again.

Mrs. Juliette Pressing
Psychic Observer
Chesterfield, Indiana
Dear Mrs. Pressing.
I am enclosing a copy of the advertisement in the Psychic
Observer, by Dr. Ernest L. Norman. It carries a picture
of the late Edgar Cayce, and as you know reads as follows;
"IT'S TRUE, America's Great Psychic Healer (the late Edgar
Cayce) READS AGAIN, thru the highly developed conscious
clairvoyance of the SCIENTIFIC & ELECTRONIC ENGINEER
Dr. Ernest L. Norman."
Having had several readings by Mr. Cayce during his lifetime,
this interested me very much and I wrote in to ask for a
Reading. During his lifetime, Mr. Cayce did not require
any study of any course before giving a reading.
Attached is a copy of a letter I have just received from
"Unarius", stating that Readings are only given to students.
It has recently come to my attention that even paid up
students have great difficulty in securing Readings.
Now to advertise a course is one thing, but to declare that
"Mr. Cayce Reads Again," and then to hold off or refuse to
give such readings seems to be to be definitely out of line,
and I would like to ask you to look into this matter for I
know how carefully you consider your ads.
You will note that the picture used by "Unarius" is the
same one that is used by the Association for Research and
Enlightenment at Virginia Beach, which Group is of course
headed by Mr. Cayce's son. Perhaps the picture is even
used without permission.
I am not acting in this situation as a member of the Cayce
Group, for I am not a member, but I feel that this matter
should be cleared up. If Mr. Cayce "READS AGAIN", it would
certainly seem that he would come to some one in the Group
he founded. Such pronouncement does not come from that
source. If he reads for Dr. Norman, well and good, but
if he does, let the "readings" be forthcoming or such
advertisements as the above be discontinued.
Yours sincerely [signed] [
