Thus weakness. Thus the heaviness in the area of the heart,
across the upper portion of the diaphragm area, or from the
heart to the liver, from the lungs to the heart, from the
heart AND liver to the kidneys. These take up, as it were,
the blood supply.
Thus involvements in parts of the body forces.
These as we find will require, as they have required, careful
nursing on the part of the body; as to its strength, as to
its building up of its resistance; as to being mindful of
diet, of habits, of the eliminations.
Then, to contribute the more to the administrations being
made for the body, in the directions that they are being
taken by the body in the present, - we would only add that
there be some colonics given, very carefully.
But do have these, if the blood pressure would be kept down.
And it will aid in relieving the toxic conditions in the
body, also aid in the administrations being given of those
properties to arouse or to aid in keeping the equilibrium in
the heart's activity.
In the diet, to build better blood supply, we would take each
day at least a teaspoonful of beef juice as medicine.
These done, we find we may add much more to the abilities of
the body to build back to better resistance, and to keep the
nearer normalcy (for it will not be perfectly normal again)
in heart's activity, in blood pressure, and in the
resistances being builded in body.
Ready for questions.
Do these things, and keep the mental attitude constructive
in thinking, in spiritual, in mental, in material; and we
will find the outlook upon the experiences of life better.
We are through for the present.

REPORTS
9/20/46 Letter from E. O. Brown, David E. Kahn's secretary:
"...Col. [
3065] has been in the hospital for 4 months, and
he called Mr. Kahn yesterday to come up to see him. The
doctors do not know what is wrong with him. It seems he did
not know that Mr. Cayce had passed away and probably thought
he could get a Reading. He had a Reading about 2 years ago
at Atlanta. It might be that this Reading would offer some
suggestions for his present condition. And, if you had the
time perhaps you could bring it up and go over it with him
and maybe get more out of it than Mr. Kahn could. He is a
very rich man and he might be able to help you solve some of
your monetary problems..."
9/24/46 GD's note: Two copies of Reading given to HLC.
