TEXT

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes.
3. Now, as we find, conditions are not very good; though there are some changes for the better with this body.
4. These acute conditions, - that arose from suppression of activity through the circulation to the upper extremities, - are only a portion of the general conditions that have been gradually building toward a condition in the liver and the lungs; from the lack of the body's ability to replenish certain blood supplies from the structural disturbances - through which the cellular forces in blood stream are created, and in portions of the rib and spine, as well as the central portions of bone structure itself.
5. As we find, then, there is indicated a lacking in the ability of that assimilated to produce the effects of the rehabilitating of the blood flow in the plasm, or in the hormones of the blood itself.
6. We find that these may be materially aided by the keeping of the corrections that have been indicated.
7. But we would add these:
8. Each day take a level teaspoonful of ACIGEST stirred in a glass of raw milk; preferably in the evening, or during the evening meal. Do this for regular periods of ten days, leave off a few days, and then take again.
9. Also we would take daily a small quantity of CALCIOS. Spread a whole wheat cracker thinly with the Calcios and eat it.
10. These are not only to supply elements in the activities of the gastric flow and the digestive system, but to enable the better purification of blood supply as it passes through the lungs themselves.
11. And with the releasing of the pressures or extenuations of activity in the upper dorsals and through the cervicals, where corrections have aided to some extent, this will materially help in bringing about a better condition, enabling more resistance to be built in the body.
12. We would purify structural activity by the use of the ultra-violet light about twice a week; preferably with the green glass projected between the light and the body. However, if this is impractical, use the ultra-violet anyway - especially over the spinal area of the chest as well as frontal area of the chest, and portions of the abdomen. Not too long, - for a minute or a minute and a half, with this forty-eight to fifty inches from the body. If the green glass is used, the time may be extended a tiny bit, but not over two minutes ever.
13. Then in the matter of the diet and the general activities:
14. Keep to those things that will aid in better stimulating for better vital forces in the body.
15. Have sea foods as a part of the diet, for the purifying of the glandular forces by the assimilating of more of iodines in the system and the salts of same.
16. Do have raw vegetables as a part of the diet each day, especially lettuce, celery and carrots. The carrots may be grated or juiced at times. Vary these so as not to become tiresome for the body.
17. These as we find should bring better conditions for this body of [3068].
18. Ready for questions.
19. (Q) What caused the condition of pain and shock and numbness through left index finger, hand and arm?
    (A) As indicated, the suppressions in the dorsal and through portion of the cervical circulation, but the deeper disturbance is in the reproductions of glandular forces in the activity towards blood supply to the energies of the body.
Do these things, as we find, and we will make for better forces for this body.
20. We are through for the present.

    Two copies to Mr. [2953]
    Copy to Ass'n file
(CALCIOS and ACIGEST are both sold by The Colloidal Health Products Corp., Atten. A. A. Nichoson, Greenvale, Long Island, N.Y. Calcios is a syrupy paste that sells for $2.50 a jar. According to the Readings, it is the best way of assimilating free calcium.
Acigest is hydrochloric acid in a form easily assimilated, and sells for $1 a bottle - take only as indicated.
When next in N.Y., see demonstration of green light being used with ultra-violet by Dr. H. J. Reilly, RCA Bldg., 1250 Sixth Ave., N.Y.C. The green glass may be secured from American Plate & Window Glass Co., Prospect Place, East Orange, N.J., for $2.50 per square foot.
Give extra copy of the Reading to the chiropractor who has been treating you. We'd appreciate having his name and address.)

BACKGROUND

1. 5/28/43 His employer, Mr. [2953]'s letter: "My secretary, Mr. [3068] has been suffering from a condition which in the last three days has become so aggravated that it has been necessary for him to stay at home because of pain and discomfort.
"He started to complain weeks ago about his left index finger hurting him whenever he used the typewriter, and mentioned that pain and shock would register up thru the arm. This has gradually become worse and here recently he told me that the hand and arm feel as though they were asleep. Severe pains are felt in the arm whenever he puts pressure on the finger or even writes with a pencil.
"[3068] has been to at least 6 or 8 doctors or chiropractors and obtained about as many diagnoses which have him completely confused and utterly bewildered, and yet offered him no relief whatsoever. He has been out for 3 days now and I'm fearful this thing is getting the better of his mental equilibrium."
2. See 3068-1 Par. R2 for additional background information.

REPORTS

1. 8/14/43 Employer, Mr. [2953]'s letter: "He is making progress and is following the instructions of the Reading. I saw him today for the first time since he followed your recommendations and the reports progress and is much encouraged. Thank you for your help."
2. 11/16/55 [3068]'s letter:
   Dear Mr. Cayce,
My apologies for this delay in sending you the info Mrs. St. Clair requested.
Late in October of 1942 I was typing an original & 10 copies of an eleven page report. After I had finished the 10th page, my left index finger began to hurt, which had never happened before. I left the 11th page go undone that day, & typed it up the first thing the next morning.
Finally this pain got worse & worse. Two nights (March or April, 1943) in succession I got no sleep because of the pain in my left arm. I had been to 8 doctors in my hometown & 2 in Phila. X-ray after X-ray was taken, but no definite answer as to the cause of the pain. I then went to a chiropractor, & after about the 5th or 6th treatment quit, because he was so rough (I didn't realize how much he was helping me until I received my copy of the reading).
In June 1943 I resigned & went to N.Y. I received further treatment from a chiropractor in N.Y. until I had spent about all my savings. I inquired about ultra violet ray treatment. It was $7.50 each - 15.00 per week. Due to this expense, I went to Florida where I figured that their native sunshine, plus my Calcios & acid would fix up my health.
Within about 3 months I began to feel much better & had gained most of my weight back.
Today I am feeling fine, except occasionally for an occasional pain in that same finger, but then I haven't been taking Calcios regularly.
   Very truly yours, [3068]
