TEXT

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Now, as we find, while there are many conditions that are very good, there are disturbances that may be corrected in the present - and prevent a great deal of trouble later.
3. These, we find, have to do with specific conditions that affect the nervous system. These are the result of conditions existent in the pelvic organs.
4. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [3072] we are speaking of, present in this room:
5. The blood supply, while very good in many ways, indicates that there is inflammation at times existing in the body. This, with the pressures produced upon the nervous system, is causing a quickening at such times of the heart's activity; so that, between the lung, the liver and the heart, there is at times a heaviness just at the pit of the stomach, or across where the thrombose circulation goes between these three organs.
6. Naturally at such times, with the nerve tension, there is a quickening in the flow of the circulation through the kidneys. While at times it may be sparse, at others there is produced an excess of circulation and activity of the kidneys and bladder.
7. In the nerve forces of the body do we find the cause or seat of the trouble, though the conditions are an adherence in the uterus of portions of the organs of the pelvis - or the womb itself to the side of the uterus. This at certain times, or at the Periods, causes a plethora.
8. Thus we find those hindrances to the proper flow, or circulation. And this gives heaviness in the feet, headaches, pains across the pelvis, and the condition which exists - as indicated - in the heart, liver and lungs, as to the quickening of the pulsation.
9. These naturally, with this indication, find in the ganglia along the cerebrospinal system a parallel condition, especially in the 3rd and 4th lumbar and through the sacral area, in the segments there, - as well as a mild - or a circular lesion in the 3rd and 4th cervical area.
10. As we find, then, in meeting the conditions - for these, of course, with the body standing on the feet, cause pains along the thighs, under the knees, down to the feet, themselves, - as a stress or reflex, or pressure, produced by same.
11. We would begin and have about six osteopathic adjustments in the lumbar and sacral, and of course coordinating the upper dorsal and the cervicals with the corrections that are made in the lumbar and the sacral areas. These six treatments should be in the first series, see?
12. Also, every other day, we would have a douche; one time with Glyco-Thymoline and the next time with Atomidine in the water. Use only a Fountain Syringe. The proportions of the Glyco-Thymoline would be a tablespoonful in a quart and a half of water, and this should be near body temperature. Do not have it too cold nor yet too hot. About seventy-eight (78) degrees should be the temperature of both the Glyco-Thymoline water and the Atomidine water. When using the Atomidine, use a teaspoonful to a quart and a half of water. If this produces irritation, keep on using it but reduce the quantity of the Atomidine. These, of course, act as antiseptics, and with the osteopathic corrections will prevent adherence, or prevent this plethora condition from forming into that of a nature that would cause distress to the body.
13. Do these, and then be mindful in the diet. Not too much of fats of any nature, but plenty of sea foods, plenty of carrots, beets and the like; especially the beet tops. These will act with the adjustments, as well as the corrections by the douches - that act upon the nervous system as well as the lymph pockets that are tending to form.
14. Do these, and we will bring bettered conditions. And if these are done correctly, and properly, normal forces will ensue.
15. Ready for questions.
16. We are through with this Reading.

Two copies to Self (one for Dr. C. W. Irvin, Bankers Trust Bldg., Norfolk, Va. - Get Dr. Irvin to give you your first treatment and refer you to a good osteopath in Newport News, with directions to him for treating you according to the Reading instructions.)
    Copy to Ass'n file
(If Atomidine cannot be secured from Burrow-Martin's, or People's, it may be ordered direct from The Atomidine Company, 1326 St. Johns Place, Brooklyn, N.Y., for $1 a bottle. The Norfolk stores used to carry it, so you may be able to get a bottle there - but it is not so well distributed in some sections.)

REPORTS

1. 7/05/43 Remarks after the reading to GD: She felt the reading was fine; had these feelings just as described; has had five pelvic operations and very little relief from any of them. Every month she can hardly menstruate at all, and suffers so.
