7/26/43 Mrs. [
3074]'s letter: "I received your nice letter
of July 21st. Since reading your book, 'There Is A River',
and visiting with the [
1710]'s, I also feel that I've known
you personally for a long time. If I ever get a chance to
come down to Va. Beach, I will stop in to see you. I loaned
my book to Dr. Shellenberger to read. He was very much
impressed and wanted to know where he could get a copy for
himself.
"I received a copy of 'A Search for God' last week and find
it very inspiring.
"Enclosed you will find application blank and ck. for $10 for
a Check Reading. It will take me approximately 2-1/2 months
before I complete my full course of treatments, but I will
let you know a couple of weeks in advance just when I will be
finished. It's a relief to know that you will work me in for
a Ck. Reading.
"I feel a slight bit better since taking the Osteopathic
treatments. I've taken six treatments already.
"Thanking you for everything you have done for me, and hoping
you are in good health..."
8/02/43 Mrs. [
3074]'s letter: "Received your letter of July
28th. The morning of Oct. 20th will suit me fine for the
check-reading. I have finished my osteopathic treatments and
am now waiting for the Wet Cell Appliance to arrive. I
haven't seen any results as yet but I haven't given up hope.
I think the Appliance will do me a lot of good.
"Mr. Cayce I would like to make an appt. for a Life Reading
as soon as it is convenient for you."
8/31/43 Mrs. [
3074]'s letter: "I would appreciate it if you
could give me a check-reading as soon as possible. The noise
in my head is terrific. At times I feel like I am losing my
mind. It makes me so nervous that I can't eat or sleep. I
would like to know if I am following your suggestions
correctly. I have finished my first series of osteopathic
adjustments and have already taken 13 wet cell appliance
treatments.
"You have set aside Oct. 20th for a check-reading for me. I
would like you to continue holding this date open for me as I
want a reading on this date also. But in the meantime I
would like to know if it is at all convenient for you to give
me a check reading as soon as possible. I will mail you a
check in a few days.
"Thanking you and hoping this does not inconvenience you..."
10/06/43 Mrs. [
3074]'s letter: "I have followed all your
suggestions given in my first rdg. as closely as I know how
and haven't seen any results. Since taking the Vitamin B-1
tablets I have noticed that my appetite is better and at
times I am not quite as nervous as usual. But the head
noises and deafness is still bothering me very much. So much
so, that at times I feel like I am losing my mind.
"I am listing my questions for my check-reading to be given
Oct. 20th at 10:30-11:30 A.M. I will be at this address for
the rdg. - ..., Maryland.
1. Why do I still have the head noises and deafness? What
can be done to cure the condition?
2. Were the osteopathic and wet cell treatments given
correctly?
3. How many Vitamin B-1 tablets should I take each day and
how long should I continue taking these?
4. Why is the ear condition worse during the Periods?
5. Is the ear condition hereditary?
6. I have been told that a major operation on the ears might
be helpful for a few years. Is this so?
7. Will pregnancy aggravate the ear condition?
"Thanking you for everything you have done in my behalf and
trusting that you are in the best of health...
"P.S. Question 8: Why is the noise and deafness worse in my
left ear?"
