Mr. Edgar Cayce,
Virginia Beach, Va.
Dear Mr. Cayce,
I have very recently read your life book, "There is a River,"
and it was most interesting, the wonderful work you are
doing prompted me to write to you, and ask for a reading for
myself, I am only hoping and praying you can help me, as you
have helped so many other people, or at least give me some
advice on myself. As I have been to many doctors and none of
them seem to be able to help me - in fact I am under a
doctor's care now, so I am asking you to please try and help
me.
This is my case,
I am a woman of 34 years and have been suffering with
headaches for the past eleven or twelve years, there seems to
be pain in my head some place, all the time and now it seems
to be affecting my ears. Every day and a half to two days, I
get an awful feeling in my ears and naturally it makes me
feel just miserable won't you please try and help me?
Will you kindly let me know what I am to give as I am just an
ordinary person.
I would appreciate it very much if you would answer this at a
very early date as I am very anxious to know just what is
wrong, another reason is my husband wants me to go to another
doctor and I don't want to because I am so sure you can help
me.

Mr. Edgar Cayce
Dear Sir,
I would appreciate it very, very much if you would kindly
give me this "reading", just as soon as you possibly can,
because as each day goes by I seem to grow worse and more
uncomfortable, sometimes in the morning I am afraid to awake
for fear I am going to have a bad headache or my ear is going
to have that awful feeling.
I hope this twenty dollars covers every thing because I
really can't afford any more. Thanking you very kindly,
I remain sincerely, Mrs. [
