Dear Mr. Cayce:
Enclosed herewith is the application for my son's life
reading for which I sent you a check previously. I note
that you must know my son's whereabouts at the time of the
reading. If by that time he should be in the Army or
otherwise away so that I could not definitely give you that
information, in that case I will notify you in advance to
give me the reading instead.
Please make my associate membership to start at the
expiration of my present associate membership which expires
sometime within the next month or so, I believe.
Enclosed is a check for one dollar for which send me the two
booklets called "Life Readings" and "Physical Readings".
Regarding my physical condition before and after the reading
I report as follows:
Prior to my reading I had had a complete physical checkup by
a reputable physician, as I had been in poor health for three
years, suffering with arthritic symptoms. The doctor's
findings were a spastic descending colon, poor assimilation
and arthritis caused, in his opinion, by infected colon from
years of constipation and bad eating habits.
Previous to this checkup I had been treating for the three
years with a Swedish dietitian and masseuse for anemia and
arthritis. She had put me on a strict diet, which I still
follow, of no white flour, white sugar or sweets, except
honey, and given me natural food vitamins, calcium and B. In
addition I drank quarts of water a day. Gradually my blood
had improved but the better circulation seemed to aggravate
the arthritis and it was hard for me to walk - my feet
completely broke down. However, with her help I continued
to work, losing only two weeks in three years.
The doctor, after this checkup, told me my diet was okay and
there was little else to do except that he gave me medicine
to relax me and open the spastic colon. Also the castor oil
I had been taken [taking] almost daily was okay with him -
just as long as I kept my bowels open. He did give me shots
of hormone due to my age. He did not recommend any colonics
(I told him I occasionally took one).
Mr. Cayce's reading verified the doctor's diagnosis almost
to the letter. Mr. Cayce advised against the hormone and
recommended the two vitamins I was taking - calcium and B
and also wanted me to take Vitamin D and Atomidine and
Glyco-Thymoline. Also Epsom Salt packs.
I spoke to the doctor and he recommended Vitamin D highly -
said he had not prescribed it as my bad stomach would
probably not assimilate it. However a new activated
ergostral had been put on the market and this I might try.
I have followed Mr. Cayce's advice except for one thing. He
advised against colonics oftener than one every two weeks,
but I have taken colonics regularly for almost a year now -
generally two a week but sometimes if a bad gas situation
existed as many as three. I caught flu last December and
with a daily colonic was in bed only three days and came back
to work feeling better and without that dragged-out feeling
that everyone else had. However, I was most fortunate in
getting a highly trained nurse in the use of the Dierker
colonic and I really think they have been highly beneficial.
I feel like a new woman. My pain and swollen joints are
completely gone. I feel stronger. Never have that tired
feeling at the end of a working day. Don't feel like
retiring until ten or eleven at night and rise at six or
six-thirty in the morning. Of course I sit at my work. My
feet are not yet strong enough to stand more than a few hours
at a time.
I attribute my cure to my sensible diet, my vitamins B and D
and the calcium, the Glyco-Thymoline and Atomidine and the
Epsom Salts packs (though I don't take many any more, only
feet when tired).
The poor assimilation is not cured yet but I feel so much
better I am able to throw off gas attacks so much easier.
The large amounts of water I drink daily (a quart on arising)
etc., I think help to wash out and stimulate the stomach.
Thank you for your interest.
Sincerely, [
