TEXT

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes. As we find the body in the present is showing some improvements. The disturbance has been rather the inability of the body to produce sufficient blood cells, through the destruction of cellular forces in structural body that aid in the creation of blood cells. Thus the inability - through the condition of the blood stream, the gland forces and structural body - to produce or to increase the numbers of cellular forces for the body - or the blood cells.
3. Hence deterioration or emaciation has been experienced in portions of the body.
4. We find that these applications, if kept in the right proportion, would offer better opportunities for the body:
5. Once each week, say on Thursdays, we would use the Infra Red Light. This may be given for thirty minutes in the beginning and gradually increased to sixty minutes - that is after it has been used for several weeks.
6. Daily, we would also use the Ultra-Violet Light. Do not use this, however, without the projection of the green glass between the Light and the body. Begin with a minute and gradually increase - after some time - to a minute and a half to three or three and a half minutes; that is after a week to two weeks, these may be lessened in frequency and given for longer periods. Do not give the Ultra-Violet the same day that the Infra-Red is given. It may be given every day except Thursdays and Sundays.
7. Each day following the Light treatment have a gentle massage; this not to make corrections in structural portions of the body, but more as would be given by a masseuse - but carefully along the whole spinal area and especially those areas where the rib centers connect with the spinal column. Give this especially along the areas where the sympathetic nerve system connects directly with the ganglia of the cerebrospinal centers - especially, then, in the 3rd and 4th cervical, 1st, 2nd, 3rd dorsal, 5th and 6th dorsal, 9th dorsal and through the sacral and lumbar areas. These massages would be of a relaxing nature, causing greater flow of impulse of the nervous forces to the general forces of the body itself.
8. Keep a regular diet, reinforced in niacin and iron especially; or these may be taken already prepared in a form easily assimilated by the body, - as in Kaldak or some preparation of that nature carrying B-1 with iron and the yeast in same - as in Kaldak.
9. These, if we would do, we will bring much better conditions for this body.
10. Ready for questions.
11. (Q) What is the exact nature of the trouble affecting the spine and right leg?
    (A) Just read what we have been giving here; the inability of the force in the glandular system and the blood supply for creating a greater quantity of blood cells. You see, the red blood cells are made within the bone. Well, the bone doesn't work, because of the shocks to same - the marrow has been in a state lacking proper nutriment.
12. (Q) Can another operation be avoided?
    (A) As we find, this may be avoided, if these applications suggested are kept consistently.
13. (Q) Can you suggest treatment for the relief of the other organs affected, such as female organs, glandular system, and intestines?
    (A) These have been indicated; the lights and the massage, which will aid in stimulating the organs to normal activity.
It will require just a little time, but be patient and we will find - within three to six periods - we will have much better or much nearer to normal conditions.
14. We are through with this reading.

BACKGROUND

1. 6/08/43 Mother's letter: "She has suffered for the last 5 yrs., and is still suffering from the results of a fall. She has had every possible kind of treatment for it, including a spinal operation, spinal injections, plaster cast, massage, light treatments, exercises, and lately, chiropractic adjustments... I have thought that only a miracle, etc., etc... I have great faith in your God-given power, and will cooperate with your suggestions to the fullest extent."
2. 6/16/43 Mother's letter: "We placed her in Johns-Hopkins in January for two months, where absolutely nothing was done for her. We then heard of a Dr. Dodge in Washington, D.C., and brought her here to have him treat her. He seems to understand her condition very well, but after three months' treatment, she has not progressed very much."
3. 7/08/43 and 7/16/43 The following questions were submitted:
   1. What is the exact nature of the trouble affecting the spine and right leg? 2. What method of treatment is advised? 3. Can you suggest a doctor in or near Mexico City best indicated to carry out the treatment? 4. If not, is there a doctor in either Chicago, New York, or other vicinity, to successfully carry on this work? 5. Can another operation be avoided? 6. Can you suggest treatment for the relief of the other organs affected, such as female organs, glandular system, and intestines?
