9/23/43 EC's letter to [
3196]'s daughter:
Dear Miss [...]:
Thank you for yours of the 19th. I don't know that the
disappearance of the rash means that you should discontinue
the use of the castor oil packs just yet or not. Have you
given your mother olive oil after each three treatments of
the castor oil packs? I think you can go much slower with
the packs now, as she is feeling much better, but I would,
possibly every two weeks, give the oil packs three days, an
hour each day, and then on the fourth day give her about two
teaspoonsful of olive oil. It should get rid of that trouble
in the liver and gall area. I thank you very much for
letting me hear from you.
I hope to be in New York to speak before the Psychology Club
on November 9, this year. I trust I may have the pleasure of
meeting either you, or both of you at that time.
Thanking you again, and asking to be remembered to your
mother, I am
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce [EC/vw]
10/05/43 Daughter's letter:
Dear Mr. Cayce,
We are starting the oil packs again this week as you
suggested. Mother did take the olive oil and for the first
time in years, she had no trouble digesting it.
We both, would like to meet you and if you will be kind
enough to tell us the meeting place and the time of the
Psychology Club meeting on Nov. 9th, we will try to be there.
Is there an admittance fee?
Hoping to see you Nov. 9th and to hear from you before then,
I am, Sincerely, [...]
