This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 9th day of September, 1943, in accordance with request made by the grandmother, Mrs. [3006], Associate Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Present: Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. (Notes read to and transcribed by Jeanette Fitch.) Born March 8, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois.

TEXT

1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [3204].
3. In giving an interpretation of the records here for this entity, warnings would be given for the next three to five years and then the unfoldment of the entity's lives would be the more helpful for the entity.
4. One that will ever be found to be inclined to be neglectful at times. This may never be corrected by scolding, but by giving routine work, or routine formulas, that may bring a coordinated unison of its thinking.
5. For activity in which there is carried out a general line of thought, in adding to things or conditions, will be the manner better productive of training in these directions.
6. Be mindful of conditions related to the digestive system. Precautions should be taken especially in these directions through the next ten months, and the glands kept in more perfect accord.
7. Keep, according to the present tendencies the better activity with more iodine in the system. This can be contributed to those deficiencies in the glandular forces, especially as relate to the thyroids that may make for an unbalancing in activities of coordinating between cerebrospinal and sympathetic forces. These be mindful of. At least three to five days each month give a series of Atomidine, if we would keep the body in a normal force. Give one drop in water each morning before the meal, for two to three days in succession, and then the next month do the same - begin it the same period each month, not just haphazard. This will bring the better conditions for the body.
8. One that will be inclined to be rather intense as to having its own way. These, too, may be controlled better by kindness than by breaking the will of the entity.
9. Activities as related to religious studies should be a part of the entity's activity. The entity will have a great imagination. Encourage rather than discourage it, or making fun of same. The entity, we will find, will be gifted especially in writing, of the fictional nature pertaining to historical places. Hence in the early developing, early history, or stories of historical characters, should be made to be the heroes for the entity. Rather than war heroes, let them be reformers, or those given to special unfoldment - as Edison, or such character who have aided or contributed to the welfare of man's unfoldments; such as Fulton or Whitney or those of that character, rather than war heroes.
10. When the individual entity is eleven years old, we would give further instructions.
11. Be mindful of the conditions indicated through the next five to eight years.
12. Ready for questions.

    [GD's note: It would seem from this Reading that this entity has a deficiency physically which would make it susceptible to certain diseases such as infantile paralysis etc. Hence the suggestion for the use of Atomidine. That is, this is my personal interpretation.]
