5/12/61 She replied to Questionnaire sent 7/60:
"In reply to your letter of inquiry as to whether I myself
have made any research on my former incarnation as Estelle
Welch, I will say no, not to date, but I do have sufficient
evidence for myself from my present life experiences to fully
convince me, myself.
"For example, my reading said that I was a teacher of
homemaking among the Indians and the whites during the period
when the whites were fleeing and being attacked by the
Indians around Ft. Dearborn.
"Well, in this life when I started in the University, I did
not know what subjects to pursue and it came just as natural
as could be to turn to Home Economics and later on graduation
to teach that subject. Then from there to art and music in
this life also, as I had already studied art appreciation,
interior decoration, history of art, costume design and
color.
"So at the time I had the Cayce reading it advised me to go
on with art to prepare myself to teach children, which I did
- then later studied more and am now a portrait artist and at
present earning my living for quite a number of years at
that, and now branching out into landscape, seascape, etc.,
painting.
"I have always loved the Indians and when I was in the 1st
grade, [...] school, Chicago, Ill., we had the Hiawatha
Primer - written by the principal of our school and we
re-enacted the stories and poems as told in that primer.
"Thanks for your letter." [She requested and was sent a copy
of her Life Rdg.]
