TEXT

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3248].
3. As we find, there are disturbances that prevent the better physical functioning. These have to do primarily with eliminations in all of the eliminating channels of the body. For as we find, through the high nervous tensions through which the body has experienced those shocks to the nervous system, the sensory forces have been affected in their functioning not only the hearing, the sense of taste, vision, but the organs of pelvis - as the liver, kidneys, bladder and the like.
4. Then, there is a nervous tension. Hence a great deal of disturbance is caused at times in the straining of the heart's activity. Not that this is a heart disturbance. But the hot and cold flushes, periods of a quick pulsation, and then normalcy - or near to normal again, but swinging high and swinging low also of the circulation tends to form in the extremities - as feet and arms and lower limbs - a tendency for cold sensations, and lack of proper elimination of toxic forces by used energies in those portions of the body forces themselves.
5. These we find cause not a true form of neuritic or arthritic tendency, but stiffened muscles and - when the body is active, not so much pain but - when sitting long or waiting long - these begin to give a great distress. But after a while, when the mind and the attention is called to active forces, the body becomes unaware of same.
6. As we find, these would be the manners for aiding and correcting:
7. First in the mental attitude, as the body interprets and knows within self, - keep away from resentments, keep away from animosities, hates, jealousies, and fill the mind and body with love for everyone.
8. Then we would begin with a good hydrotherapist. Have dry heat as a means of setting up a good sweat, so as to cleanse extremities as well as the rest of the body. While not raised too high, this should give a good sweat. Follow this with the hot and cold showers then a thorough rub down using as a stimulation to the circulation this combination of oils:

Usoline or Nujol, as the base....4 ounces,
Oil of Pine Needles..............1 ounce,
Oil of Cedar Wood..............1/2 ounce,
Olive Oil........................1 ounce,
Peanut Oil...................1 1/2 ounces,
Lanolin (liquified)............1/2 ounce.

9. Shake this together when this is ready to be given to the body, following the hydrotherapy treatment - which should be given at least once each week. massage this thoroughly into the arms, limbs, torso, and especially across the diaphragm and the abdominal area.
10. When there are those feelings of uncomfortableness in bladder or in the urethra, use over the pubic center the Glyco-Thymoline Packs. Only use these when there is pain.
11. With the correct diet, we should bring better conditions for the body. Keep the diet in line with that which the body itself knows very well (for it is a good dietitian). Keep rather towards the alkaline reacting foods and we will find better conditions for this body.
12. As for the head and neck, while these massages will be helpful, use the head and neck exercise daily, morning and evening. This will strengthen the eyes, relieve the tension in the throat, make for better conditions in the hearing, and the taste will be improved. Just a few minutes, but do be consistent with it.
13. Ready for questions.
14. (Q) What shall I do to overcome hot flushes? Doctor Curtiss prescribed Premarin, and this relieves me temporarily, but the CAUSE is not yet found. I should be over them for I have been through menstruating for years now.
    (A) As indicated these are a part of the disturbances, which are of a sympathetic nature. The character of hydrotherapy indicated will be most helpful.
15. (Q) Recently had some trouble in the lower right colon.
    (A) These same massages, as well as the pressures being removed by these rubs, will also aid the disturbances in the colon.
16. (Q) Is there any way of keeping vertebrae from slipping out of place easily?
    (A) By strengthening, and this will be accomplished by the character of oils used; strengthening the muscular forces about those portions of the body.
17. (Q) How can I overcome susceptibility to infections such as colds, influenza, etc.?
    (A) As we have just indicated, by keeping the body alkaline. Only in acids do colds attack the body.
18. We are through with this reading.

    Copy to Self
    Copy to Ass'n file
(Head and neck exercise: Standing or sitting erect, bend head down three times, back three times, to the side three times to the left side three times, circle to the right three times, circle to the left three times. Do this consistently night and morning.)

BACKGROUND

1. Her husband, Dr. [3011], had previously obtained a Physical Rdg.
2. 9/22/43 [3248]'s ltr. to EC:
To the Great One who comes thru our friend, Mr. Cayce:
Thank you in advance for the help you are going to give me in order that I may attain perfect health for greater service to humanity.
In case you do not tell me what to do for the following in the main reading, will you please answer the following questions as these answers are of utmost importance to me in the matter of health:-
   1. What shall I do to entirely overcome the frequent irritation and urge to urinate due to bladder disturbances. Only today Dr. Carter found pus, gravel, and micrococcus urea together with acute irritation or inflammation. I have used Hexalet, Lithium Benzoate, Pyridium, and today am trying Sweet Spirits of Nitre, but so far the irritation persists. Dr. Carter treated me radionically also several times, and Dr. Belt used a sound to open the urethra, which was and is too small. The latter relieved me for two months, and the came another long period of irritation, which is on now.
   2. What shall I do to overcome hot flushes? Doctor [3011] prescribed Premarin, and this relieves me temporarily, but the CAUSE is not yet found. I should be over them for I have been thru menstruating for years now.
   3. How can my hearing be made keener, especially in my right ear? I can't be called deaf, but DULL of hearing. I notice it when people speak from across a room or from another room.
   4. How can I overcome susceptibility to infections such as colds, influenza, etc.?
   5. Is there any way of keeping vertebrae from slipping out of place easily?
Thanking you again for all the information you are to give me, and thanking your instrument for loaning his vocal instrument for this great work,
Very sincerely, In His service, [3248]
P.S. I omitted to ask about the condition that give me some trouble in the lower right colon. I had inflammation in the appendix a few weeks ago, according to the radionic diagnosis.
