TEXT

1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - "right pretty little girl - '10 - had the measles - '13 - '14 - '16 - first real love affair - " - etc.)
3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [3253].
4. In giving the interpretations of the records here, we find that these cover many varied experiences through the material plane. Thus we find one very emotional, giving expression in what might be called something of the arts. For the entity is artistic as well as given to certain characters in music. Those especially appealing are of the descriptive nature, descriptive of emotions between lovers, or of sorrow or joy. These appeal especially to the entity.
5. In analyzing the life experiences and the emotions that come from sojourns during the interims, we would choose from these that which may enable the entity to better fulfill the purpose. We would minimize the faults, we would magnify the virtues. This, too, should be the policy - yes, the life experience of the entity. For as we forgive we are forgiven. As we make friends and show ourselves friendly we are enabled through such to wield an influence for weal or woe.
6. If the purposes are made clean, as in the realm of the basis of this body's vibrations, there may be brought greater harmony. For, such is music. For it alone may span the distance between the sublime and the ridiculous. Between spirit and body, mind and soul. Thus may it lift individuals in their hopes or it may be used to arouse the passions of the animal in the individual.
7. Thus purposefulness in the ideals would be the greater stress in the experience of this entity. But using same for the glory of the Creative Forces, or God, may ever bring that peace that is promised in Him. Not as the world knoweth peace, as being at ease, but an active principle in knowing self to be in that way that gives place ever to the Creative Force or God. In loving one another in the Christ-spirit, in bringing to one another the greater consciousness of the responsibility of each soul in the place where you are. For it must first be found within self before it may be given to others. But in the giving, in the doing, ye find joy of expression.
8. Astrologically we find Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune.
9. Thus music, love. For as the entity has experienced, beautiful friendship, the love created between friends of the entity has been the greater joy in the experience in the earth.
10. Hurts arise from misunderstandings. Thus the injunction to forgive as ye would be forgiven. As given to each soul, if you would offer praise or honor to thy God and have aught against thy brother or a brother against thee, first make thy peace with thy brother. Then thy offering, thy praise, may be other than sounding brass or a tinkling cymbal. Otherwise, it will mean nothing to anyone except to fool thine own self.
11. As to the activities in the earth, we find that these have been oft and varied. Not all may be given here, but those to indicate the activities of the entity in and through the experiences in the earth.
12. Before this the entity as Jane Neye was among those who heard Patti when she sang even in the very crude surroundings, as compared to those of the present day. The entity was moved to give expressions to herself and others about her. Thus the entity may find that in music, as well as in the arts, the greater contribution may be made in the own home and in the own environs and surroundings; not as one that would be of fame or fortune. For the greater individual is the one who is the servant to all. And to conquer self is greater than taking many cities. For, here ye many find humbleness as against that which cries oft for expression, and the feeling of not being appreciated. Express it more in the greater amount of love upon those who may be aided through thy effort. For, remember, man looks upon the things of the day but God looks upon the heart. And that ye build in the minds and hearts of others grows and grows and grows. Thus, as an unheard of individual save in thine own environ, ye may move to keep the earth and the environs thereof in the realm in which He is ever mindful of His peoples. For it is when man turns his back upon his Maker that the Maker's back is turned to him. Only then.
13. Before that the entity was in the English land during those periods when there were divisions in church and state; when the common people cried out for their privileges, and abilities for expression.
14. The entity was in the household of Cromwell, among those that aided in keeping the abilities of those set in authority in those directions that prevented them from becoming political powers.
15. The entity in the present is interested in politics, in those that are in authority; does very little about it and yet might do much, from the teachings it may give to those that are within its own scope of activity.
16. But stay close to music, close to those things of the art and artist temperament. For these bespeak of those things of the spirit. For, as music is of those activities that span the differences, so is art an expression that reminds one of those things that may attune the mind oft to the realms easily forgotten.
17. Before that the entity was in the earth during those days when the church was established in Jerusalem, on the day of Pentecost when there were those quiet hours in which the Holy Spirit manifested in the activities of those that had been and had walked with Him; when the entity became attuned, as it were, to the voices of the universe - when nature itself spoke to the peoples that would listen.
18. Thus were there added to those groups such as would be saved. For it is the free gift of the Maker. Only self, then, may separate thee from the love of God. Through selfishness, lust or the like, ye may separate self from the love of the Maker.
19. The name then was Archar, and the entity aided in those activities, cared for those that were the strangers from many different lands.
20. Before that the entity was in the Persian and Arabian land in the 'city in the hills and the plains'.
21. The entity was among the followers of the caravans that made this their stopping place between the east and the west, or the Indo-China land and the Egyptian land. For the entity had known of the activities in the City of Gold, being among those that were the hangers on to those people in their wanderings.
22. Thus in the present we find the dissatisfaction latent within self, the wanting to be something else or somewhere else. These are latent, but find expressions in disappointment in peoples and in things and in the activities in self. But be ye one in purpose; not being overanxious or ever weary in welldoing in the Lord.
23. The name then was Tek-Lah.
24. Before that the entity was in Atlantis, when there were those divisions and the breaking up of the land had been promised through the activities of the children of the Law of One.
25. The entity was among those that chose to enter as leaders in what is now called Yucatan. And the entity aided in establishing the temple through which there was hoped to be the appearance again of the children of the Law of One, as they listened to the oracles that came through the stones, the crystals that were prepared for communications in what ye now know as radio.
26. For ye may tune again to things afar off, if ye set thyself in order and attune to the infinite.
27. In the experience the entity gained, though not able to control her subjects. Thus the entity finds oft in the present it's not able to control those yet so close. For the control must first be found within self.
28. As to the abilities in the present, that to which it may attain:
29. Who may tell the rose how to be beautiful? Who may tell the snow how to be white? These come from the experience of the entities that attune themselves to God. These ye will find, then, in thy music, in thy home, in thy love for art. In these ye may find the outlet. Teach others - by precept, yes, but most of all by pattern.

   Dear Mr. Cayce:-
   The study of my Life Reading is proving very interesting. It has already helped me to know myself better. I would like to continue with supplementary readings on each of the appearances listed for me. Would you please set the dates for these - keeping them about a month apart so as the expense will not all come at one time?
   You are doing a wonderful work, Mr. Cayce, and bringing happiness and understanding to so many people.
   I hope Mr. Sugrue's next book will be published soon.

2. 9/24/53 Verbal report: "I do not recall the exact year I had measles, but I do remember having them. The reading was right about my first real love affair - at 16; it was right about my being emotional. I have a large circle of friends, although I make friends very slowly I always keep a friend once I have made a friendship. My biggest problem is being easily hurt. I'm trying hard to learn how to overcome this [Persian experience]. It is so true about my being dissatisfied and the hurts that seem to come to me. I would always want to have a home, but feel such an urge to travel that I often feel such an unrest. The only reason I would want money is to travel.
   "I have read everything I could find on Adelina Patti, the opera singer. I love music - took lessons when I was young - love to fix up my home and encourage others in so doing - very happily married.
   "[English period] Very true about my interest in politics. I've read up on Cromwell. I especially love horses, though the reading didn't mention it - I suppose this came from the English period. I have never taken up my political interests into any particular activities along that line.
   "Although my environment was not such that I would hear about reincarnation, I have always believed in it. I used to read everything I could get my hands on that had to do with this type of subject - especially anything to do with Atlantis.
   "I felt rather disappointed that I didn't get more detail in my Life Reading, though I realize this is rather an ungrateful attitude."
