Mr. Edgar Cayce,
Virginia Beach, Va.
Dear Mr. Cayce,
Thank you a million for the appointment date of January 3rd
for the recheck reading. I will be with you then!
I am writing under great handicaps today as I can barely see
to write at all. Night before last, I could not sleep a wink
until after 4 a.m., and then when I did fall asleep, I woke
up and found I had had another hemorrhage in back of my eyes
again. You recall I had it last summer in August, six months
ago, and it was only up to now, that the blood clot was just
about absorbed and I could see, when I had another one.
Since my blood pressure (last night) has come down to 150,
then it could not be that the blood pressure caused the
hemorrhage back of my eyes. I have had this happen about
half a dozen times in the last several years and always have
been told it was due to the high blood pressure. It usually
fluctuated between 230 and 190 - but now that it is down to
150 for the first time in many years, there must be another
cause for the hemorrhage. What is it? Please advise, as no
doctors can.
Also, you said to have new eyeglasses. Last Feb. I had my
eyes examined for glasses but I was unable to get better
glasses than what I am now wearing. Also a few weeks ago I
was examined again for glasses with the same results. I
cannot get my glasses changed due to internal conditions but
I did get new eyeglasses frames that is all.
And at this writing I feel almost blind as to my sight.
I consulted Dr. Coulter last nite and he told me to ask you
if the blood pressure has a direct bearing on my eyes, or
eyesight.
The next question is, how is the neuritis in my left upper
arm? It is still swollen despite every type of treatment
that I have taken. It is still very painful. The pain has
lasted without interruption nine months so far.
Can anything be done to alleviate or cure this pain and it's
underlying causes?
Another thing. I cannot lie down flat in bed to sleep at
night. Most of the time I feel smothered and have difficulty
in breathing. I have to sit up in bed, propped up with
pillows, to be comfortable, but when I do sleep, I wake up I
find I am lying flat in the morning.
Is this due to my heart? What is wrong?
I know my heart is enlarged also leaky. Have been told but I
can't feel comfortable at nite.
I have had a sensation of extreme exhaustion so much, what
causes this, and how may I feel stronger, and able to be more
active?
These are my questions for this time Mr. Cayce. I hope you
may be able to see the causes of these things. Life is
sweet, I want to do my share wherever I can while I am in
this earth body but the conditions as they are prevent me
from activity or participation in important things. It isn't
even being half alive. I feel so useless and I do so want to
tingle with health, so I can do my part.
But that is everybody's need I dare say.
Every available dollar that I can possibly spare has been
used to try and get well, and my experience has been; doctors
do not KNOW. And here I am, over three solid years
doctoring, without not much results!
I must say, you are my star of hope indeed, for it has been
thru your directions that my blood pressure has been brought
down to 150, and no medical doctor has been able to do this,
altho they have prescribed a fortune in pills and medicines
for it; covering a period of some years! So that is a lot
for me to be grateful for, and I count my blessings one by
one each day of my life.
I am most grateful to you for your efforts in my behalf. We
are all linked together in one way or another, and I am sure
that I can pass on to others as you have passed on to me.
Such is the law eternal.
For your willingness to use a great talent for the good of
humanity, may God bless you always.
Sincerely & gratefully, [
