TEXT

  1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
  2. EC: Yes - these as we find are rather serious; part negligence and part karmic.
  3. The injuries that were sustained by this body at the period of birth will remain with the body through this experience.
  4. Greater help or care for the body may be administered by one sympathetic, caring for and administering to the physical needs of the body.
  5. Later, there will be required operative measures - if there would be the maintaining even of soul and body here together; but in the present there is needed only massage and care.
  6. Along the neck and spine, that there may be the better use of self, massage the body daily - from the base of the brain, back of the ears and base of the brain, downward. Use this combination of oils:

      Olive Oil...................2 ounces,
      Peanut Oil..................2 ounces,
      Lanolin (liquefied).........1 teaspoonful.

  7. Later, when there has been some unfoldment or development, consider a brain surgeon's reactions to same. An X-ray will show the pressures existent there.
  8. Eventually these pressures from the reflex centers of the brain may be removed by operative measures.
  9. Do that.
  10. Ready for questions.
  11. (Q) Is the present treatment correct and should it be continued?
    (A) We would follow rather these suggestions made here, or add these, if there would be the betterment.
  12. (Q) What can her parents do to help her?
    (A) Only the care and attention. Be patient but be persistent.
  13. (Q) Is there a kidney condition?
    (A) This is a reflex condition; not a primary cause.
  14. We are through for the present.

BACKGROUND

  1. 7/23/43 Mother's letter: "After reading the article in 'Magazine Digest' I am writing to see if you offer any help for my six year old daughter. Most Doctors say she has spastic paralysis. She cannot walk alone and she does not talk although her mind seems to be normal. She is not deformed. She has not been operated on and no medicine has been recommended. For the last year I have been taking her to a Swedish Masseur. She is a little better. I hope you will be the answer to my prayers for [3293]'s health. I am enclosing an envelope for a reply."
  2. 9/03/43 Mother's letter: "She seems to be getting worse every day. Last week the dr. thought she has a kidney condition, along with spastic paralysis that she has had most of her life."
  3. 9/27/43 "What can be done to make her well? What dr. would you advise? Is the present treatment correct and should it be continued? Was she injured at birth or later? What can her parents do to help her?"
