Dr. Cayce,
Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach Va.
Dear Dr. Cayce;
On Oct. 19, 1944 [
1943] you so kindly gave me a very fine
reading which I was very much pleased and according to
your directions I went by and I only was able to take nine
osteopathic adjustments because of sickness of my aged
mother. I noticed at the time that the adjustments were
mostly on the shoulders as I had carefully read about these
adjustments in your directions, but I tried to think he had
given me the right adjustments.
In February or March my stomach became in a terrible
condition and my nerves were terrible, and I had an ulcer
to come on one of my eyes, which in spite of the best of
treatment has not healed.
In June I took another high colonic, and went back to the
osteopath thinking to take twelve adjustments, showing my
copy as he had the duplicate copy, he gave two adjustments
when I had to stop. Later on I went to a doctor and he had
my gall bladder exray and it showed the gall duct closed. He
said it should be removed and I don't want to do that. I
have a very kind friend [chiropractic Doctor] who I had heard
could empty the gall bladder, he also gave me some by your
directions.
This morning I called your office and your secretary talked
to me concerning all and she advised to start and take your
directions over and then ask my chiropractic doctor friend
to study the directions and see if he could give me the
adjustments as you advised as those directions would open up
the gall bladder. My kind friend told me to go ahead with
your directions again bring your directions to him and
he would study them thoroughly and give them to me. I am
starting again tomorrow on the directions.
I would like to have another hearing whenever you can give me
one and you are feeling better. Please let me hear from you
if you can give me a hearing when you can.
Sincerely yours [

Dear Mrs. Wirsing,
I am so sorry not to have answered your letter before
but I have been sick. You have been most kind and I
have appreciated it more than you will ever know.
Due to not working since last March I have not been able [to]
join the association. I have a widowed mother 89 who I look
after and I have been very sick. I am very MUCH interested
in Dr. Cayce's work and would like to join. I do hope he is
restored to health.
Thank you for all you have helped me over the phone.
Sincerely yours [
