TEXT

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3301].
3. As we find there are conditions disturbing the physical functionings as to bring distresses to this body. These as we find, are primarily from an unbalancing of the chemical forces of the body, - a form of stricture in the lower portion of the duodenum, that connects with the jejunum, - and poor eliminations in the system. Thus there is an unbalancing of the eliminating activities. So that poisons that should be eliminated through alimentary canal are often indicated in the superficial circulation - in a form of rash, or pimples on portions of the body; red spots, hot and cold spots over the body.
4. These as we find also produce the tiredness throughout the body; periods when the body is restless, unable to sleep, aching in fingers, in limbs and knees and feet.
5. These all are the effects of these toxic conditions in body and formation of gas through the stomach as well as through alimentary canal.
6. These as we find are the disturbances with this body.
7. In making administrations, - we would first begin with having three or four good osteopathic RELAXING treatments. Then leave them off for at least two, three to four weeks.
8. But during that rest period, have a cleansing of the whole alimentary canal; first by having a good colonic irrigation, scientifically given; then - for at least two weeks - take each morning before breakfast one level teaspoonful of Eno Salts in a full glass of water, drinking another glass of water afterward. When the system has been cleansed in this manner, then begin to take KalDak as a tonic to add to the appetite, to add the proper minerals and salts to the system, aiding also in the vitamins necessary. In the beginning take just a level teaspoonful, dissolved first in two or three teaspoonsful of hot water, then adding whole milk - that is, milk with cream in same - to fill the glass. Drink this each day for three days, then leave off one day and take three days more; leave off a day, and take three days more. Take it in this manner, rather than as indicted on the package.
9. After it has been taken in this manner for a period of three to four weeks, the amount may be increased - but continue to take it three days and leave off one day and then three days more and so on. This is to give the body a chance to react in its ability to coordinate the activity of the minerals with the system.
10. After the KalDak has been taken for something like a month, have another series of osteopathic treatments; this time taking about twelve such treatments. Take these twice each week for the first four or five, and after that only once a week. These should be relaxing treatments, not stimulating; emptying the gall duct, that we may be rid of conditions existent in the lower portion of the duodenum.
11. For the rash in the beginning, dust with powder containing Balsam. This after each bath will tend to keep down the irritation.
12. Do these and we will keep away these headaches as well as make for better conditions in the eyes, ears, nasal passages, and the general conditions of the body.
13. Ready for questions.
14. We are through with this reading.

Two copies to Self (one for the osteopath - Please let us have the name of the one you choose.)
    Copy to Ass'n file
(KalDak is a preparation being distributed by The Lansworth Co., Lansing, Mich.)
