This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 26th day of October, 1943, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [3311], new Associate Member of the Ass'n for Research and Enlightenment, Inc., recommended by the book, THERE IS A RIVER.

TEXT

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3311].
3. As we find, there are specific disturbances here that have long made a great strain on the general nervous system. Thus it has kept a form of anemia existent throughout the body forces.
4. A form of catarrh through head, or nasal passages has produced a general drain that - with the conditions in the digestive system - has made hard activity upon the assimilating and digestive forces of the body. Thus the foods have not at all times given as great a supply of reserve energies to the body as they should, leaving sedimentary forces or congestion in portions of colon. Thus the disturbances through these areas in the form of constipation, lack of proper or full elimination, producing prolapsus in the Eustachian tubes - that are causing the greater disturbance to the auditory forces.
5. We would apply Glyco-Thymoline Packs to the areas back of the ear and to the face, when the body is ready to retire. Make these rather into a mask that may be held on with a cord or elastic; so that pads of Glyco-Thymoline may be applied to those particular areas each evening for periods of a week at a time, then leaving off for four or five days and then repeating the series about twice.
6. Then begin with osteopathic adjustments. It would be well for finger surgery, even, on the Eustachian tubes, after the body has been prepared for same. Such a specialist as Richardson would be good, - in fact, best for such conditions, but others may aid also.
7. Add to the body the strengthening vibrations needed in the elements from KalDak, for this body, taking a heaping teaspoonful once each day. Dissolve it in a small quantity of very hot water, then add milk and cream or whole milk. Homogenized milk would be well. This for body tone building will be well.
8. Do these and we will have much better conditions, not only staying the disturbance upon the organs of hearing - or portions of the inner ear itself - but bringing back even better hearing.
9. The gentle massage, too, will aid in correcting the disturbances of the general nature, so that the general health also will be much improved.

12. (Q) What causes, and what should be done to eliminate, pains or aches that come and go in limbs and various parts of the body?
    (A) These are from poisons that are not eliminated. Poor eliminations. The stimulations indicated should overcome these conditions. Once or twice, with the treatments, there should be the cleansing of the colon - but do this scientifically, by colonic irrigations, and we will find much better conditions.

1. Comments preceding reading:
   Deafness for 6 or 7 years, getting worse - and recently, especially at night, suffer with pains in or near the ears. Have taken a series of shots - something on the order of Thealin, and now having a rest period from them. [GD's note: Subsequent correspondence was regarding her husband's reading, [3310].]
