For an hour apply Glyco-Thymoline Packs over the lumbar and
sacral areas, extending to the coccyx. Apply these hot - not
so hot as to burn the body, of course, but put them on warm.
Then apply salt heat - heavy salt, sewed into a bag, about
an inch thick, so it remains in one place and may be bound or
bent to fit the contour of the body; especially at the lower
end of the spine, for it must be over the area of the coccyx.
Keep these on for at least two periods each day; that is,
heat the salt by putting the bag in the oven, and let it be
just so it is not too hot as to cause burns from same. When
the salt has cooled, then apply the warm Glyco-Thymoline Pack
again and reheat the salt. Use about three thicknesses of
cotton cloth - diaper cloth is very well to use. Do this for
two periods of thirty minutes each, one following the other,
each day.
Immediately following the Packs each day, give the body a
massage with Cocoa Butter - and this should be done very
carefully. Massage this gently but thoroughly, all the
body will absorb each time. Don't hurry through with this.
Massage into the same area over which the Packs have been
applied. Take twenty to thirty minutes to give this massage.
So, just set aside two hours each day to make these
applications, if you want to save this baby.

BACKGROUND
12/22/43 Oral report from mother: Baby walked and talked
normally until about a year and a half old, and then
these two functions ceased. Now underweight...brain seems
unimpaired...eats well...too weak to sit up...doctors say
that control box in brain doesn't cooperate...they don't
know why...some say a fall, some say a brain hemorrhage.
REPORTS
Questions requested but not answered in reading:
1. Can the baby walk again?
2. Can the baby talk again?
3. Please suggest name of doctor to administer treatments.
Comment by GD at the time of the reading: "I visited this
mother and child and showed her how to do the massage, etc.
The child was limber - couldn't hold up its head - very pale
and anemic looking - listless..."
