TEXT

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: She was in here and taken out!
3. Yes, we have those conditions that disturb this body.
4. As we find, those disturbances here as related to the use of the limbs are those concerning which the body is most anxious, though they are not even in the present the most serious.
5. But as we find, these have arisen from pressures that exist in the cerebrospinal system as related to a portion or end of the bone where the femur enters the hip bone. These have been allowed to become static and to lose control, so that atrophy has begun to set in.
6. This is just hardheadedness on the part of some people.
7. While it would require a long period, we find that these disturbances may be best met by the use of hydrotherapy - packs and massage, so that all of these conditions might be changed for the body. For the tendencies for the tying of nerves and muscles through the strain put here on the end of the femur are, under the general stress, causing other conditions through the body.
8. These as we find should be relaxed first with Fume Baths carrying iodine. Use a teaspoonful of iodine in the pint of boiling water in the Fume Bath Cabinet, so that the fumes from iodine settle over the body.
9. When the body is taken from the Cabinet, apply hot Glyco-Thymoline Packs over the hip and back, extending at least to the 11th and 12th dorsal. Then give gentle massages throughout the whole area, including the hips, the hip joint. Don't attempt to correct, for a great many periods after this massage has been started. In the course of three to four weeks we find that corrections may be gradually begun, to move the static condition of the bones where atrophy has started, or a dying away of the nerves and muscular forces.
10. Afterward, when such movements have begun, it would be necessary to apply Gold vibratorially to the body.
11. Unless all will be done, don't begin any of it.
12. After six to eight such corrective treatments have been given, use then the Wet Cell Appliance. To be sure, the body will have to be moved from here for these treatments to be applied - but these can bring help for the body.
13. If the course of treatments is followed to the point where the Wet Cell Appliance is to be used, make the attachments each day for thirty minutes - the regular charge for the Appliance and the regular strength Gold Solution (one grain Chloride of Gold Sodium to each ounce of distilled water). The larger plate, through which the Gold passes vibratorially to the body, would be attached at the umbilical and lacteal duct plexus. The small copper plate would be attached at the 9th dorsal plexus.
14. Do these, and we will find better conditions.
15. Ready for questions.
16. (Q) If carefully followed, how long should it take for this treatment to have effect?
    (A) A year or two years or seventy years - what's the difference! Is it building to use the time for constructive activities or for the gratification of self? If it is for the gratification of self, you'd better let it alone. If it is to be for constructive influences in the lives of others, begin. But begin by praying about it and making the promises - then do keep your promises to your Maker.
17. We are through with this reading.
