TEXT

1. GD: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3436].
3. As we find, many conditions are very good with this body. There are great taxations to the nerve forces and to the whole energies of the body, and those tendencies for superacidity through the system. This often causes the body to be subject to colds or for the activity of the lymph circulation to give trouble, through throat, bronchi or the soft tissue of face and head. There are deficiencies or there is the lack of balance, especially in the activity of the thyroid gland that controls also the activity of the glands in the pelvic and and the genital system - which, under stress and strain at times, is deficient in normal activities.
4. Conditions of the thyroid also cause lack of proper formation in the hair, the nails and the general circulation.
5. The quickening of the heart's activity under the stress and strain is not always good for the body.
6. As we find, then, greater resistances need to be builded in the body; yet keeping much of that balance which exists in the circulation in lungs, heart, liver and kidneys.
7. Also changes of environment would be advisable for the body's activities. For with these general strains the organs of the central system as related to the vegetative nervous system and the sensory system, eyes, ears, nose, taste, voice - all are at times strained; partially because of the lack of vital energies, partially because of the overtaxing of the body forces. With the acidity, the susceptibility to cold becomes more apparent.
8. As we find, though, under the present environs, there should be a budgeting of the time. Take a definite period for recreation of the mind, in reading other than that in which the body is engaged daily; that is, when leaving the office leave the office there, not carrying it in your mind or worrying or becoming overanxious about same.
9. Also set a definite period for physical recreation. And in those periods of recreation or relaxation do have the regular exercise - as the massage and rubdown, following handball or such exercise that requires physical activity of the body. These will be extra good for the body. With such exercise have the relaxing period with the massage and the thorough rubdowns.
10. But add to the body those vital forces or energies that will keep a normal balance in the body. These we find indicated in A, D, B and B-1, iron and niacin. These are needed for the body building. These may be best found in KalDak. This we would take when the body is ready to retire of evening, but take this regularly, a heaping teaspoonful dissolved first in a little hot water, and then fill the glass with milk and cream, stir thoroughly and drink. This will aid in digestion, it will aid in the general activities.
11. Do take Atomidine, one drop in half a glass of water before the morning meal three days in succession each week.
12. Do that, and we will find better conditions for this body.
13. Ready for questions.
14. (Q) Will these treatments cure my hay fever?
    (A) Will remove the causes and thus remove the disturbance.
15. (Q) Have the injections taken for hay fever been injurious in any way and will there be any reactions from these later in life?
    (A) Haven't helped much - only a very short while.
16. (Q) Can anything be done to offset the effects of these injections?
    (A) Rub it out and get rid of it, by the exercise, the sweats and the massages.
17. (Q) Has my spine fully recovered from injuries suffered in the past?
    (A) The spine has been almost back to its normal reactions, though, of course, a weakness exists.
18. (Q) What can I do to keep my teeth for life?
    (A) You won't! For already these have begun to need local attention. If there is kept the proper balance in the vitamins, it will help - but these precautions should begin - well, during the period of gestation is when they should begin, but for a body should begin at least in the first or second year.
The general care of same with a good dentifrice, as well as a good massage for the gums will aid. Use Ipsab at least twice a week for the gums. Use Ipana for brushing the teeth. Massage the gums with Ipsab, though, and we will have a better chance for keeping the teeth much longer.
19. (Q) What can I do now to improve condition of eyes?
    (A) All of these as indicated, as to how the organs of the sensory system are to be aided. Do those things suggested.
20. (Q) Will glasses become necessary?
    (A) When the time comes for same they will be necessary.
21. (Q) How can I keep what hair I have and prevent baldness?
    (A) As indicated, through the activities in the thyroids.
22. (Q) Can any advice be given here on the sex question?
    (A) It's already been given - do it.
23. We are through with this Reading.
