(Q) What causes and what can be done for burning in bladder?
(A) The improper circulation. Apply Glyco-Thymoline Packs
over the pubic area.
Take Glyco-Thymoline douches occasionally; use a teaspoonful
of Glyco-Thymoline to a quart of body temperature water.
Use three to four thicknesses of cotton cloth saturated with
the Glyco-Thymoline for the Packs. Place salt heat over
same; not an electric pad, but salt heated in a sack or bag
and laid over the Glyco-Thymoline Pack. These will ease and
relieve these tensions.
Also once or twice or three times a week take about five
drops of Glyco-Thymoline in a glass of water.
Obtain watermelon seed and make a tea. Crush a teaspoonful
of this seed and pour a cup of boiling water over same and
allow to stand for about twenty minutes. Drain off and take
this. Do this about twice a week, not on the same days that
the Glyco-Thymoline is taken.
We are through with this reading.
BACKGROUND
11/18/43 She sent membership application saying: "Dear Edgar
Cayce: I wrote you several months ago, after reading THERE
IS A RIVER. I have never been so impressed by anything
before. I have faith in you and as I am a great sufferer and
am at about the end of the row, I am appealing to you to give
me a reading at once. It is very necessary as I cannot
endure the pain in my face any longer. I beg of you to help
me."
12/12/43 She submitted questions: "What causes the terrific
pains in the right side of my face? What can I do to relieve
them? Is there anything I can take for burning in the
bladder? Am I lacking in some vitamin in my system?"
REPORTS
2/29/44 Mrs. [
3469] wrote EC: "It has been two months since
I had my reading by you. I wrote you sometime ago that I was
unable to find a Radio-Active machine in Cincinnati. Being
anxious to follow your instructions I would appreciate it
very much if you could tell me more about it. I still have
my pain and I haven't missed one night for two months putting
on the hot packs. Could you tell me if I am getting any
better and what to do about it?" Very gratefully yours,
Mrs. [

3/06/44 We sent Mrs. [
3469] explanatory information about the
Radio-Active Appliance which should have been sent with her
reading, telling her she could secure it from Mr. A. M.
Godfrey who had to make it up according to directions given
in the readings.
4/28/44 She wrote EC: "Since your reading of Dec. 20th I
have been trying so hard to do as you directed. I bought the
Radio-Active Appliance and so far my pain has not subsided.
Can you give me a check reading so that I can find some
relief? In my original reading you said you could help me.
I believe you. Let me know at once as I cannot stand this
awful pain any longer."
5/03/44 We made another appointment for her for June 26, 1944.
5/12/44 She wrote to EC: "Received your letter several weeks
ago but was too ill to write. I followed your instructions
faithfully as to the hot packs and massage on my neck and
also used the battery. We decided to come to Virginia Beach
and see if it will build me up a bit. We expect to arrive
there Thursday the 15th (this week). I shall come to see you
as I am so very anxious to know you and talk to you. You say
you will give me a check reading on the 26th. I shall be at
the Beach at that time." Gratefully yours, [
