TEXT

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3482].
3. As we find, there are disturbances that are undermining the better physical functioning of the body. These arise from infection in the pulmonaries. This is caused more from a lesion in the pleura of the lung itself, rather than in the lung; though the lung has become involved in the condition.
4. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [3482] we are speaking of:
5. The blood supply indicates, in the very nature of the hormones in the blood, how that there is the greater call on the red blood and the structural portions of body from which blood supply arises for greater quantity of the white blood and leukocytes. These make for deterioration in the resistances of the body. These tend to make for the using up of those supplies of coordination between the acids and alkalines of the body. Thus we find cold and congestion and the lack of proper amount of balance caused adherence of the pleura first to the side of the body, then more recently - with cold and irritation - adherence to the lung itself; bearing inflammation and causing temperature in the exercising of the blood stream to create sufficient for better activity.
6. Here we will find that if there is consistency these applications will aid; that is, not taking too great a chance, getting feet wet, being in night air - yet there must be plenty of oxygen at all times for the body-forces.
7. These we would change somewhat by the addition of elements in the body through changing the chemical reactions. But much of this must be done by the air itself that is breathed being pure, and with the prevention of cold or of undue extreme activity in any of the extremities. For with the reduced red blood supply, and yet not sufficient of the white blood for feet and hands and portions of the body to receive enough circulation (while the heart, liver and lung circulation may be fast enough, it is not oxidized sufficient through the lungs), it is necessary that proper precautions be taken so as to prevent a greater unbalancing - as the throat, trachea and bronchi have also become involved.
8. Then, these we would do first for the body - or these we would first suggest:
9. In diet, do take often the stimulating foods that supply vital energies necessary through proper assimilation to build red blood. Plenty of oranges. Eat at least three to four oranges every day, so long as they agree with the body. Take a little at a time, and they will agree better with the body. These should be fresh, and tree-ripened where practical.
10. Also eat plenty of liver, broiled. Plenty of beef juice when at all practical. Take this like medicine - the beef juice - a teaspoonful twice a day, and let the body take at least a minute to sip this quantity, eating a whole wheat cracker with it. This will give strength and vitality, if the digestive forces are brought to better assimilation.
11. Make this better assimilation by taking four times each week a teaspoonful of ACIGEST stirred thoroughly in a large tumbler of raw milk, preferably during or just after the evening meal. This may be taken four days consecutively or days skipped, dependent upon the reactions to the body - but take it four days each week - for it will require that there be plenty of fresh air. This will be very necessary.
12. Hence at least once each day the body should enter a room - not too large a room - where the ultra-violet ray (the Mercury Light) has been burning for at least thirty minutes. The ozone is what the body needs. Not necessary that the body remain in this, and don't remain in it longer than a minute - but let the Light be upon the frontal part of the chest area. Here we would not use the green glass between the ultra-violet and the body, so that the ozone breathed in will be the stronger. Have the Light at least thirty-seven to thirty-eight inches from the body.
13. As an inhalant for throat and lungs, we would put in a six-ounce large-mouth container these properties, in the order named:

Grain Alcohol (at least 90% proof)...4 ounces,
Oil of Eucalyptus...................20 minims,
Rectified Oil of Turp................5 minims,
Compound Tincture of Benzoin........15 minims,
Rectified Creosote...................2 minims.

14. Prepare the container with two vents in the cork, that may themselves be kept tightly corked when not in use. In the morning especially, and before retiring, shake the solution, remove both corks, and inhale deeply into the throat and lungs; not into the esophagus but as you would inhale cigarette smoke, into the trachea, bronchi and lungs, about two or three times. This may be increased after the inhalant has been used for several weeks - that is, the number of inhalings each time may be increased - night and morning. These will aid in healing and in relieving those tensions.
15. Also prepare gallon and a half oak keg, charred inside - do have it charred. In this would be put two vents, one for the inhaling of the fumes from Pure Apple Brandy. Hence this vent should not enter the Brandy - as only the gas from the Brandy should be inhaled into the lung. This would be done once or twice a day, or whenever there is felt the need of same. This is healing for the lung.
16. Every day, just following the ultra-violet ray treatment and the breathing in of the ozone, we would massage the body thoroughly - especially over the rib area, from the 1st cervical to the 9th dorsal, using Cocoa Butter.
17. The rest of the diet should consist of good, body-building foods; plenty of fish.
18. Rhubarb is well for the body to take occasionally.
19. A little later - after some three to four weeks of following these treatments - we would begin taking CALCIOS for stimulating heart activity and purifying glands in the body. Twice a week eat a whole wheat cracker spread thinly with the Calcios, preferably at the noon meal. But do not begin this until the other treatments have been followed for at least three weeks.
20. Keep the alimentary canal open. If necessary, use a vegetable eliminant - or an eliminant having a senna or fig base. Use colonic irrigations occasionally.
21. Do these and we will bring better conditions for this body.
22. If there is a change in climatic conditions, be where it is warmer but higher. Where there is pine and such activities would be well, such as near Asheville - but rather than in a colony be in the country.
23. Ready for questions.
24. (Q) Orange juice hurts his throat. How can this be taken?
    (A) After the inhalants have been used for a few days, there should be no hurt.
25. (Q) Is it necessary for a change of climate from Liberty, New York?
    (A) Not absolutely necessary, provided all of those applications or treatments indicated here are available for the body. Don't get the feet wet. Don't sit in night air or drafts. Do have plenty of natural air, not that produced - unless it is of certain types that don't change the air but purify same.
26. We are through with this Reading.

Acigest and Calcios are distributed by The Colloidal Health Products Corp., Atten. A. A. Nichoson, Greenvale, Long Island, N.Y. Acigest is hydrochloric acid in a form easily assimilated, and sells for $1 a bottle. Calcios is a syrupy paste containing free calcium easily assimilated and sells for $2.50 a jar.
See sheets [which were enclosed] illustrating the types of inhalants suggested.)

BACKGROUND

1. 1/03/44 Brother in oral report says that he has been ailing for several years. Recently condition developed farther with his lung. In a rest home at present.
   Questions:
   1. Please describe condition of lungs and throat and relief for same.

REPORTS

1. 3/27/50 Edna Harrell's letter:
   Blood Building
Rare Liver ate rare, broiled calf's liver every day for months, for an extreme anemic condition. My blood count became normal. Combined with this I had other blood building foods as prescribed in the readings, especially Beef Juice. Also ate leafy green vegetables. There was a marked improvement in 7 weeks, and I had gained nine pounds.
This was followed as suggested in Health Hint.
