RE: [

So far as I know, the reading was only followed very
haphazardly. The KalDak was bought, but it seems the price
was a little steep which caused considerable discussion.
He is now wearing dentures, so I presume the salt and soda
massage was not done too thoroughly either.
Apparently the ulcer condition returned because about a year
ago, he underwent surgery and I am told they removed two
thirds of the stomach. It seems the stomach is in reality
an extension of the small intestine and he was told to eat
six or seven times each day (small quantities) and gradually
build up the amount he was eating each time until the stomach
could return to normal size. That was supposed to take about
a year. He says he feels better now than for several years.
The sterility must have been permanent, because they adopted
a lovely baby girl about twelve or thirteen years ago, and
Yours Truly had the privilege of buying her first diapers.
You probably recall the war was on and everything was
rationed, but when I explained to the sales lady that the
necessities were for a week old baby girl that was being
adopted, she sold me two dozen without batting an eye. Patsy
is now their pride and joy.
Oh, yes - he followed the suggestion about remaining in his
local position. If I recall correctly, he was with the ...
(that's where he is now at any rate). The pay is pitifully
low, but they are Christian people and seem to be able to
manage after a fashion - and they are very happy.
Time plays tricks on one's memory, for I had completely
forgotten about [
3484] getting a reading until you jogged my
memory for me. Do hope all is well with you.
Best love always,
