12/22/43 Wife's letter:
Mr. Edgar Cayce
Association for Research and Enlightenment, Inc.
Virginia Beach, Virginia
Dear Mr. Cayce:
Replying to your letter of October 28, about [
3487], we are
letting you know that at the hour assigned to him, - 7:30
to 8:30, Pacific Coast time, on the morning of January 4
(Tuesday), he will be in bed sleeping at our home, ...,
Calif. Should you need details, he is sleeping in an
upstairs room, - open windows on three sides.
Following are questions that might be asked:
Is the condition of the throat (difficulty of speech and
swallowing) due to having an abscessed tooth out? He was
alone with the dentist and under gas, - we have wondered if
some nerve was injured. If so, what can be done about it.
He has a tendency to be deeply irritated by minor
disturbances, - does this contribute to his condition, -
or the condition cause the irritation - and how can it be
remedied.
What is his general condition of health? and How can it be
improved?
Principally, however, what causes the thickness of speech?
And what causes the difficulty in swallowing? The thickness
of speech usually is worse at the time of eating. And how
can he be cured?
And now, may I repeat - we are having faith to believe he
will be restored to health - and felt that in some way your
cooperation would be helpful. So please reply ONLY, if you
have some good word for us. This is important.
Greetings of the Season to you all,
Sincerely [...]

Sorry, - no follow up made the experience more or less
confused.
