GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3535].
As we find, there are disturbing conditions that prevent the better normal functioning. These need not necessarily grow too serious, if there are the precautions and measures taken for correction.
There has long been the tendency toward a consuming anemia.
With the strain and, more recently, the flu, this has grown to be rather trying on the body in the present.
It is not well that the body discontinue activity entirely, but this should be curtailed and not too great a strain made.
These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [3535] we are speaking of, present in this room:
In the blood supply there is indicated a deficiency in red blood numbering nearly twenty million. There is the inability of proper activity in structural portions, then, and the lack of supply in lymph; that is: He doesn't rest as well as he used to! The circulation isn't as good - gets cold in the extremities and the like. The energies in the lymph to supply leukocytes tend to make those weaknesses wherein if there is any long activity of walking, any undue exercise - especially as of raising the hands above the head or the like, the body has to rest because of shortness of breath and the feeling that all the middle portion of the body is being drained out.
These are the results of lack of leukocytes or warriors against the strain where muscular forces use energies in the body. This is why there shouldn't be any great amount of activity. Yet don't stop entirely, for the brooding from such wold be much worse for the body.
In the nerve forces we find general depletion. All the centers coordinate very well, both with the cerebrospinal system and the activity of organs also - except that indicated in the 4th lumbar center. This the body can correct itself, by exercise, as we will indicate.
Then, in making corrections here - be persistent, be consistent, and we will find that the body may thereby be the great gainer.
First we would give that the body begin taking internally one drop of Atomidine in half a glass of water before the morning meal, to stimulate gland activity and the circulation through lungs, heart, liver and kidneys. Do this for three days in succession, then leave off for two to three weeks and then take for three days again, and so on - not more than the one drop each morning for three days in succession.
After the first series of Atomidine, begin taking a pinch of ground elm stirred in a glass of water each day, for at least ten days - letting it stand for twenty minutes each time before drinking it. Stir and let it stand sufficiently long to become a little bit slimy, but it will not be bad to take. Do this each day for ten days following each series of the Atomidine.
Also each evening, just before retiring, drink a cup of Saffron Tea. Put a pinch (between thumb and forefinger) of the American Saffron in a cup and pour boiling water over it, letting it stand for twenty minutes. Strain and drink - just before retiring.
Every other day do have the ultra-violet ray over the back and the lung area - this for the structural portion of the body, specifically. A minute and a half should be sufficient, every other day.
Then the diet:
Take a great deal of liver. This should be broiled, but not too much - just sufficient to make it palatable - the blood is what is needed.
Also as oft as possible take beef juice, or as regularly as you can obtain the beef. It is much preferable to use the juice in this manner than to take transfusions, though you might have to take transfusions if you don't do these things - and it wouldn't be very good for this body!
So take all the beef juice you can assimilate - don't let it become obnoxious, but at least every day take one or two slices of calf liver - with all the blood in it that you can keep, just to make it palatable by broiling in butter.
Take a teaspoonful of the Beef Juice at a time - don't swallow it down, but let it mix with the juices of the mouth and be assimilated in that manner, by sipping it. Take at least a minute in sipping a teaspoonful. Do this two or three times a day, if it is possible to obtain the beef. Prepare the juice in the manner we have suggested - no fat at all in it.
Don't try to eat fats.
All the sugar the body will assimilate, but it will have to be in very small quantities. It is better taken in cereals or fruits - that is, the natural sweets in these, rather than adding sugar. Occasionally, if palatable to the body, eat rice cakes or buckwheat cakes, but do use only honey or maple syrup and butter, rather than other types of sweets. This is the manner to take the sugar, rather than large quantities of sweetening.
Don't eat much of cakes or pastries and pies, but stewed fruits of all characters are very good for the body.
Do these and in eight to ten weeks we would give further instruction.

(Q) Is there an internal hemorrhage?
(A) Rather it is an internal consumption, as indicated. This is in the areas of the jejunum, as might be indicated from the necessity of taking the elm water and the Saffron tea, to work with the gastric flow.
(Q) What caused the varicose vein in the leg?
(A) This has come from the lack of ability through the circulation, and from those injuries that should be corrected as we have indicated here in the 4th lumbar:
Twice each day, before you put on your clothes of morning and when ready to retire of evening, press the thumbs of both hands on the 4th lumbar. Press hard! At the same time bend forward, just as far as you can. You may hollar the first time or two, or give back, but keep on trying it. You will get to where you will relieve this strain that makes for the slowing of the circulation in its return to heart, or in the veins. Don't have them plucked, but paint these areas with Spirits of Camphor and Collodion.
(Q) Is there any relation between this vein and general condition?
(A) We have just given that this is from a specific condition in the 4th lumbar.
(Q) What is the cause and correction for paleness?
(A) The whole condition is lack of blood supply!
Do these things indicated and we should find better conditions.
In ten weeks we will give further instructions, if the body will do these that have been indicated.

2/21/43 He obtained a Physical Reading for his sister, Mrs. [2918].
