But know, know, that if God be with thee what does it matter
if all others are against thee? For peace and harmony will
reign within thine own self. Remember as the lawgiver gave,
think not who would come from heaven that you might hear or
who might come from over the sea to bring you a message -
of hope or of discouragement. For lo, both are in your own
heart, your own conscience. There is today, every day, set
before thee good and evil, life and death - choose thou. For
only self can separate you from the love of the Father. For
it should be manifested to thee that thou art conscious in
a living world, aware of suffering, of sorrow, of joy, of
pleasure. These, to be sure, are the price one pays for
having will, knowledge. But let that knowledge be spent in
a way and manner to help others. For as ye do to thy fellow
man ye do to thy Maker.
According to astrological aspects March 11th, bad enough and
good enough to do something about. First, astrologically,
it is the Pisces influence that brings the spiritual intent -
though others wouldn't judge so according to the application
often. Yet in self there can be had and felt that
harmony which is the gift of Him who gives life,
light and understanding to those who seek His face.
In Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus (not because of the position
of these but thy own consciousness), we find:
In Mercury the high mental abilities, but the entity
doesn't always use same in the correct choices. Learn to
do the first things first, and that is - make peace in thy
conscience with thy Maker.
We find in Mars that the entity is one that may never be
called lazy, in body or mind. You have some anger but you're
not worth much without it and remember you're worth much less
if you don't control it.
In Jupiter we find the great beneficent urge, always urging
people on, as well as urging self. Know that thy redeemer
liveth, and as ye urge others remind them - as well as self
that what ye have and what ye are is by His grace and mercy
and not by your own feeble efforts. For He withholdeth no
good thing from those who love Him, and those He loveth He
purgeth. Then, know that the material and mental sorrows
are but the purging necessary that ye may indeed manifest
the more His love in the earth. Do that.
In Venus we find the love of beauty, of lines, of designing,
of modes, of set things, and the love of nature itself. Yes,
it may be said of this entity that he can see the beauty even
in a cabbage or a potato, as to what it may apply, as well as
in a sunset or in the work of an artist or in music. Then,
he is appreciative. And so few people are, that this is a
real virtue in the entity!
As to the appearances in the earth, while all may not
be indicated these show the latent and manifested urges
particularly in this period or cycle of the entity's
experience in the earth:
Before this the entity was in the land of the present
nativity, in those periods when there were turmoils and
strifes because of the people being driven from Fort
Dearborn, that place now known as Chicago.
The entity was among those in the trading business with
the natives as well as the settlers. And some questioned
the entity when there were those meetings in the entity's
store places, and yet the entity was not false to his own
conditions nor others, though there were some questionable
places in those environs during those periods.
In the present the entity has that ability to meet all
peoples of all positions in life, those who are of high
estate or those who may be questioned, or those after whose
morals or activities there may be question marks, those who
are of this or that thought. Not that the entity hasn't
ideas of his own, and few ideals - these we would build up.
The better activities for the entity then would have to do
with dealings with people dealing with things having to do
with the building up of homes, the building of things to be
enjoyed in, around or outside the home.
The name then was George A. Charlisle.
It may be said that the entity gained in the mental and
material things. While others fled, the entity made peace
- and later became a part of an activity for the building up
farther to the west.
Before that the entity was in the English land during those
periods when there were those journeyings into that land from
the Holy Land, when the children of Hezekiah prompted many
of those even in authority to leave the Holy Land because of
Nebuchadnezzar's activities.
The entity was young in years when it came into the coasts
of England where altars [Sstonehenge?] were set up to tie up
the meanings of "The Lord thy God is one." The building up
of this thought makes no bonds, no slaves among any peoples.
The name then was Jeheuh. The entity gained greatly.
Hence the abilities to meet with its fellow man, to control
through its personality; that is, being what it is truly and
not just to be seen of men but to be seen of its Maker.
Before that the entity was in the Holy Land in the days
when Jacob labored for the daughters of Laban, during those
periods when the helpers of Laban chose rather to become
helpers of Jacob.
The entity was among those who aided in preparing the places
of feeding for the cattle when Laban had set up such and such
conditions under which divisions would be made of the cattle
or goods.
Thus those things having to do with wood, with blemishes,
marks, spots and things in wood are all of special interest
to the entity. Today they may be called other names, but the
entity finds that woods of gum and other solid woods that are
known for their particular marking are of particular interest
to the entity. And in themselves they carry a meaning that
is not explained in the entity. But consider, such markings
may even control the dispositions of people, as they did the
animals. How truly the Lord is one, and moves in mysterious
ways His wonders to perform among men. Ye say peculiar
interpretations? But it's one.
The name then was Raoul. The entity journeyed to the Holy
Land with Jacob. The entity was particularly interested in
the happenings to Jacob when he wrestled with the angels.
For the entity was one of those who looked after the son of
Jacob when there was fear of the brother Esau, and remember
there was only one of that particular group of sons in that
particular period - Joseph. And the name means much to the
entity in the present.
Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land when there
were the preparations for the particular activities in the
Temple Beautiful, much that had to do with the draperies, the
hangings of the Temple. For as there were those forms that
were to be a part of the training of the groups for various
activities, the entity found greater purpose in these
preparations.
Hence even in those fields of dress goods, draperies,
coverings for furniture, hangings, embroideries, those things
having to do with the beautifying in such, were all a portion
of the entity's activities. These applied in the present may
be used to advantage, not only in connection with metal or
wood or the like but in themselves also.
The name then was Stex-el-on.
As to the abilities of the entity then, that to which it may
attain and how:
As indicated, have ideals as well as ideas. Set thine own
house in order in thyself, first. Then as ye apply self in
relationships to others you will find the outlets in trading,
in activities having to do with garments, clothing or in wood
that is particularly modeled. These are the outlet for the
greater activities in this experience.

and you were very close to Joseph, to Rachel, to Jacob.

(A) In the English land the relationships were almost the
reverse, or the father then was in thy household and was
instructed by thee. Haven't you tried to teach him many
things in the present?
(Q) What line of work should I follow?
(A) As indicated, that having to do with woods, draperies,
skins or dresses.
(Q) In view of government restrictions on furniture, should
I remain in my present business situation?
(A) Not much else to do in the present, because it isn't
going to be long before there will be changes - if you
will prepare yourself for these changes, it will be well -
because, you see everybody will want new things before next
fall. Better prepare so you can sell 'em.
(Q) In what location can I best carry forward the work
suggested?
(A) Where you are! That's the best place for every
activity.
(Q) What would be a creative hobby to follow?
(A) Matching particular characters of snarls in wood, and
you'll get something out of it when you begin with it.
(Q) Any suggestions for success in my card games?
(A) Not too much in these. These lead to things not too
well adapted to self, in your loneliness.
(Q) Any further mental or spiritual advice?
(A) There has been set before thee a pattern. It is worth
thinking about. And as ye analyze it, study to show thyself
approved unto thy Maker, a workman in every sense not
ashamed, rightly stressing the particular words of truth
and keeping self from condemnation - of others or of self.
