Dear Mr. Cayce:
It has been so long since I wrote you you have no doubt
forgotten all about our correspondence, but I have been
so occupied with a leave that my son in the Navy and my
daughters visit and as my house is small I haven't had a
quiet moment to give to writing to you. However I have never
forgotten and neither has my interest grown less. It is very
interesting to know that you are acquainted with Mr. Sherman,
author of "Thoughts Thru Space". You asked me what I thot of
the book: I think he did a fine thing when he gave his time
and energies to the experiments and they surely proved that
the possibility of sending thots thru space is possible when
people are properly sensitive. Also I think he did a fine
thing in presenting it as he did as a scientific experiment
as so many people will not accept such things only as they
are presented by science, so his book should be a great help
in that way.
I have again read over the literature sent me and will say
again I am in complete sympathy with all you are doing. I
am sending for your book "A Search for God" and several of
the pamphlets as I want to find out all I can on this line of
thot. I noticed that one of the comments regarding the book
was given by Glenn Clark and tho I have only heard him speak
once I almost feel I know him as he lives in St. Paul and of
course I am a great admirer of Geo. Washington Carver.
I have hesitated to ask you to give me a reading when I did
not have the money to pay for it as I have always paid my
way but as you say you have a fund which takes care of that I
have decided to ask for one however I am enclosing $7 to help
and will send more later. I have no money of my own. I feel
greatly in need of the reading and am looking forward with
great eagerness to the time when I may get it. And I am more
than willing to co-operate in any way I can. And as I am so
much in sympathy with the work that my mind should be attuned
to the reading. This is for a "Life Reading" and if it is
possible for me to have a "Mental and Spiritual" one too that
would be really grand as I feel I am at a cross road and if I
could find myself it would be such a help.
Do you think you could send me the study lessons you have
prepared for groups? I have no one to study with but maybe
I could use them alone. If you think I could I would be
very thankful for them for I want to advance in knowledge
and understanding.
Could I please have a sample copy of your monthly
publication?
I am filling out an application for Associate Membership
as that is all I have, hope that is alright. I am eagerly
waiting to hear from you. Thank you so very much.
Most sincerely, Mrs. [

Dear Mr. Cayce:
I have a "Life Reading" scheduled for Dec. 30th and am
eagerly looking forward to it.
And I have a "Mental and Spiritual" on Jan. 26th at 9.30
a.m. our time. At that time I will be sitting quietly in
my bedroom in my home. The first reading was "sponsored"
and for the second I have already sent you $5 and am now
enclosing the remaining $15 to pay for same.
I am very grateful for the opportunity to have these and
thank you in advance.
I am also enclosing $1 to put with the money you need to
carry on. It is not much I know but if enough people give
that it will help and from time to time I will send in more
for that purpose.
I do hope you will find it possible to put out the literature
that you are planning. I enjoy all of the pamphlets you send
me and am interested in all the Association is doing.
I pray for the welfare of your sons who are in the Service
and sincerely hope they will be home before the next
holidays.
May you have peaceful and inspiring holidays.
Most sincerely yours,

Dear Mr. Cayce:
I was happy to receive your letter and am eagerly looking
forward to my readings.
You said I might ask some questions. I am glad to know that
but as I know so little about the readings I am not sure what
is permissible, but in my "Life Reading" I would like very
much to know what the relations were between me and my family
in our past incarnations. And have I accomplished the things
I was supposed to in this incarnation.
The greatest desire of my heart has always been to in some
way contact the unknown. To me that seems the most desirable
thing I could accomplish. Sometimes I have had little things
but I want to know more. Will I be able to acquire any
degree of knowledge in that line. You understand I am not
especially interested in contacting entities unless they
were very advanced souls - rather to touch the cosmic
consciousness. Can I ever hope for that? Is there
anything I could do to help myself toward that goal?
Maybe this last should come under my "Mental and Spiritual."
I don't know.
I hope these questions are the right type of questions but am
not sure.
Am enclosing $1. to help with postage.
Thank you so much.
Sincerely, Mrs. [

If it is possible to find out what the destinies of each of
my family is to be I would be very happy to know that.
