Dear Miss [
3607]:
I have yours of the 26th. I am very sorry that you feel as
you do about the information. I don't believe from my
experience with such information through the years that this
was indicated at all. It is, of course, possible that there
might have been someone else referred to in saying that one
was not keeping the period, and changed to find you. I
thought the reading was very, very good, and I hope that you
don't take that rebuke as being made for you, for I don't
think that was intended for yourself.
As to the suggestions for the green vegetables you will note
that it says it should be prepared with gelatine. I wouldn't
blame you for not attempting to try this from the experience
that you had with the raw vegetable. But I do believe that
you would find it quite different with gelatine prepared with
it. Do not take too much of that, but I believe that by
taking a smaller quantity of this you will get real results.
Then, so far as the meats, in this you will, of course, have
to be governed by circumstances. I know that it isn't at all
times possible to get the very things that would be best, but
if you follow consistently and prayerfully the suggestions as
you are able I believe you will have results.
I should think it would be very well to have the prescription
re-filled and to follow through with that. For the colonic
irrigations I would use the soda and salt solution. This is
not so weakening. Use one heaping teaspoonful of soda and
one level teaspoonful of salt to one gallon of water. This
makes a solution that is not irritating to the membranous
lining of the colon. Not too hot, and not too cold; just
body temperature. Carbonated water would not refer to cold
water or tea. Either of these, I am sure, you can take
without causing trouble.
I would take the course of treatments and then rest a period
of say two weeks. Then take another course of the
treatments. Let the system get the reaction of the things
taken by not becoming dependent upon them entirely. This, I
feel sure, will bring much better results.
I don't believe that the information meant to be critical at
all, but as consciousness came of that environ, the meaning
was that the first one located was not keeping the
appointment - not you.
Do let me hear from you from time to time as to how you get
along. Know that we are most anxious to try to be of help in
any possible way.
Thanking you and with every good wish, I am
Sincerely Edgar Cayce EC/wi
