The individual has used opportunities for self, of others;
but leave not out of thy faith nor thy hope those purposes
that should be the promptings of this individual entity. For
when ye walk with Him, in purpose and in ideal, ye will find
that ye are never alone. Think not that ye or any other
individual may be the only one serving a living God. For
since His entry into the world, and His making it possible
for man to find his way back to God, there has been and will
continue to be an increase. For God has not willed that any
soul should perish. Though the lights of hope may oft grow
dim, in the violence that is created by those who become
self-conscious of ability and who use self and others for
gratifying of selfish desires, let it ever be said of thee
that ye will make, ye will cause the welkin to ring for the
glory of the coming of the Lord. For He will one day come
again, and thou shalt see Him as He is, even as thou hast
seen in thy early sojourns the glory of the day of the
triumphal entry and the day of the Crucifixion, and as ye
also heard the angels proclaim "As ye have seen Him go, so
will ye see Him come again." Thou wilt be among those in
the earth when He comes again. Glory in that, but let it
be rather the one reason why ye keep the faith, the faith in
the coming of the Lord, to call those who have been faithful;
that they, as He prayed, "may be where I am, and may behold
the glory which I had with thee before the worlds were."
That is something to look forward to!
Thus the seal of the entity might be the indication of the
coming of the angel of light, and with it that star that
brought to the earth the coming of the Christ-Child.
As to urges latent and manifested, we find that
astrologically these would be very little, save in the
Jupiterian urge - which is toward a universal consciousness.
This, too, is needed in thy consideration of thy abilities,
of thy urges that arise in thy experience from period to
period; that there may be kept the constant awareness that
God as the Father is not a respecter of persons, any more
than a mother loves one child better than another. For as
each child finds its place in the physical consciousness, the
mother-love expands to be as inclusive as the heart of God
himself.
Though many of His children become wayward and far, far
afield, He has not willed that any should perish but has left
with the children of men, His brethren, that privilege of
making those aware of this whose lives and hearts have only
seen the hardships of the earth in man's mad desire for
power in his material self. He has left it to those of
the faithful to make such aware.
Then know, as ye walk in the presence of the Master it will
be as leaning on the arm of someone to whom ye have pointed
the way to the Christ-life - just as the beloved in the hour
that there was set forth the emblem of the broken body and
the shed blood, in order that man might ever be mindful of
same - the beloved [John] leaned upon the arm and the breast
of His Lord.
Thus may ye, as those favored with His blessings, in thy
ability to direct groups and individuals who make the
paths smoother for those who have found the way stony,
who have found doubts and fears because of bodily ills
or oppressions, and have made them unafraid.
Stand ye up, then, in that glory of the Lord.
As to the appearances in the earth, much in thy personality
has been and is indicated from the urges that arise latent
and manifested from these. All are not given, but these are
the ones having an influence in the present, in these periods
of thy unfoldment. For these, too, change. Just as the
periods of experience through the purer life, the unfolding
and the secular things and ages of doubts and fears, and then
finding self.
Ye have found thyself in service to others. Forsake it not.
For in this, as ye lead and direct, ye may do His biddings.
Before this the entity was in the land of the present
nativity when there were turmoils, when there had been
what might be called an example set by one Molly Pitcher.
The entity also had a companion who labored with that army.
Then the entity gave self in a service for nursing the
wounded, those who were frostbitten, those who were hungry.
And the entity became one of the first of her own sex to
offer themselves freely in the service for such activities
in this land of its nativity.
These brought blessings on the entity and those whom the
entity served; broken in body, yes from the very service.
But it has builded within the soul-self that which knows no
defeat as long as the entity finds itself on the Lord's side.
Then keep that faith, walking closely with Him day by day,
letting thy prayer be earnestly, sincerely: "LORD, LEAD
THOU THE WAY."
The name then was Martha Miller.
Before that the entity was in the Holy Land, and the entity
first came into personal contact with the Master, Jesus, on
that day when there was the triumphal entry into the city.
Then in wonder the entity beheld the crowd of people,
especially the little ones. For, though man would have most
believe that there were great throngs, they were mostly women
and children - and the entity was among the young women in
that throng; then in the name Josie.
The entity also beheld from afar the Cross, and beheld those
visions and knew of the quaking of the earth, knew of those
that arose from the tomb.
For the entity in that day became acquainted with Martha
and Lazarus at Bethany, and those stories as preserved have
meant, do mean much to the entity. For the entity was with
that group when there came to proclamation by Peter, John and
James that "the Master goest before thee into Galilee."
Then entity was among the five hundred who beheld Him
as He entered into glory and saw the angels, heard their
announcement of the event that must one day come to pass -
and will only be to those who believe, who have faith, who
look for and who expect to see Him as He is.
Keep that faith above all else. Let it be the prompting
in the choice of thy associations, as it has been gradually
builded in this experience in which you have put away doubt
and fear, and have trusted in they Lord, and in the doing
right by the fellow men to bring right and peace and
harmony into thine own life.
Forget not the life as Josie.
Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, when
there were those preparations of emissaries for the
changes in ideas and helps to other lands that were
seeking cooperation with those undertakings in Egypt.
The entity was among the leaders in the preparing people for
such service.
Thus may the entity find itself in the present representing
those who are in authority in high places, as then; and may
have the ability to mete out to others the character, the
grace, the manner as to be helpful to other groups, to
other nations.
Remember, as ye would that others should do to you, do ye
even so to them.
The entity then was closely associated with the activity of
the King, correlating activities between the King and the
Priest; thus acting more in the capacity of the emissary
and the preparer of those for state purposes rather than
religious.

(A) In the activities just before this there were the closer
associations, among those whom the entity nursed back to
health. Ye have had to help him this time. Don't fail him.
(Q) My daughter, [...]?
(A) In the Holy Land experience as well as in Egypt were
the closer activities; as a friend in one and in the other
just the reverse. Hence at times ye find the daughter as a
companion and at times she wants to tell you what to do!
(Q) What part of the world is my work moving towards?
(A) Ever westward ho!
(Q) Should I stay in the business world or attempt to build
a home again?
(A) In the business world for the present period; afterward
a home.
(Q) Have I made a wise investment in the oil wells in Texas?
(A) Rather a wild cat but eventually it will be alright.
(Q) Is the job in Honolulu likely to increase in scope of
work?
(A) It will until about two years after the war. Then build
your home.
(Q) How can I best take advantage of our recent move to
Washington?
(A) Don't take advantage of anything. Use the
opportunities, let the moving to Washington be an
opportunity, not advantageous. Advantageous to others, yes.
To self, a greater opportunity.
