But each evening when ready to retire have first the Sitz
Bath; that is, the body sitting in hot, then cold water, then
hot water, then cold and so on. Then massage the hips, the
lower portion of spine, the limbs, with this combination of
oils:
Olive Oil, (heated).........4 ounces,
Tincture of Myrrh...........4 ounces,
Lanolin (liquefied).......1/4 ounce.
Massage this into the body, not all of it at once, of course.
Shake the solution, pour a small quantity in an open saucer
and massage. The body may give this massage to itself or
have it administered - just as the body prefers.
Do this consistently, persistently.
Add to the body those foods that are rich in vitamins A, D
and B-1.
If there is the ability to be in the sunshine, do so. If
there is not the ability to do this very often, supplement
the diet with A, D and the One-A-Day B complex tablets.
These will aid the vital forces to the body.
But do all of these, not just part. Don't begin with the
massages and the vitamins first. Do begin with the general
mental attitude.
Ye have much work to do. Ye can be a messenger, yea a
manifestation of the work of the spirit of truth through thy
body.
When ye feel that ye have the right attitude, begin with the
applications suggested.
Ready for questions.
(Q) Would an operation be of help?
(A) Not in the present. As we find, with the treatments,
there may not be the necessity of an operation at all.
We are through with this reading.

BACKGROUND
Background report given orally just prior to the reading:
Dislocated hip. Happened when two years old. In trying to
crawl out of his crib caught his leg and pulled the hip out
of place. Spent much time during the early years in plaster
casts. Doctors finally gave him up as a bad job, expecting
him to die, but he came back to life. Spent some time at the
Children's Seashore Hospital, Atlantic City, tied down on a
board and strapped across the chest, with casts on both legs.
Hip bone being out of place caused a new socket to form,
which in time has caused rubbing against the pelvis and now
the disease is known as TB of the bone.
