3/26/44 Letter: (First part used in
3706-2, Par. R1 her
Life Reading.)
"I am most eager to start those Glyco-Thymoline packs and
have my various vertebrae adjusted. I have long been going
regularly to an osteopath & she has to crack my neck almost
every visit, always a weak spot. I go faint very easily.
I'm sure you have hit the spot when you say my body's
vibrations need changing. I shall wait to finish this letter
when I have shown my readings to my Dr. next Tuesday. My
osteopath is a close friend & was the one who lent me 'There
is a River' - sister to Dr. Marcia Wirth of Chadran, Neb.
whose readings you gave last November. I shall do everything
you say for I do always want to be 100% well - For many
months I have not had any times of exuberance of well
being as I used to have, tho I am never really ill.
"I am surprised that you do not recommend Colonics for I've
been going to Dr. Clark for those for several years and now
need one every 2 weeks. I hope this means that my intestines
aren't in as bad shape as we thought? She has suspected a
serious constriction for some time.
"I expect the period you mention when excess of poisons
contracted various muscles, was during the last war when I
worked in a Y-M-C-A but for British & American soldiers from
1916-19. The food was AWFUL - Sticky white bread, bully
beef, potatoes & cheap jam almost entirely. I got so run
down as to have break out on my skin & I came over to this
country in 1919 in a condition of near break-down. However,
I come of a healthy stock. I overcame that in time. Now
about the pictures. I confess to a real disappointment that
you did not keep at least the river one - painted ESPECIALLY
for you - willows and all! I even inscribed it on the back.
But its yours and so if you want to pass it on that's all
right. You see I have some of my English thankness left!
"Another thing that interested me was that I expressed my
art in music (voice) as Jessica - I happen to have a speaking
voice people love - is that a kind of hangover? I love music
as deeply as I do my painting - also writing - & it does
encourage me to keep on with poems & articles, reading
what you say I might do.
"I will take a separate sheet with one to add anything after
seeing my Dr. tomorrow & going over reading with her. Thanks
again, so much.
"My osteopath's name is: Dr. Jennie I. Clark, 430 Empire
Bldg., Denver.
"Dr. Clark knows me inside out & I've let her read both
'readings'. She is as thrilled as I about them & we are
going to do everything you suggest.
"Thank you, again - if you have time to answer my letter
please do."
4/05/44 Letter from EC to Mrs. [
3706]: "Thanks very much
for yours of the 26th.
"Of course I am very, very pleased to know that you have
found your reading most interesting, and I only hope and
trust the suggestions applied will prove as helpful to you
as to so many others tell us theirs have been to them. You
are most fortunate to have an osteopath that will follow the
suggestions made for the physical correction, very closely.
We have quite a number of people in this school throughout
the country, who are very enthusiastic about the information
and especially the results they have been able to obtain in
the use of the suggestions made, though there are times when
the information tells them the manner of treatment that is
in opposition to what they have been taught. To me it is a
personal thing, because in the years gone by I was acquainted
with and had several treatments from Dr. A. T. Still himself.
Many members of his family are still interested and we hear
from them rather regularly. This would indicate that it has
been at least, a consistent thing.
"Yes, the Life Readings are very fantastic tales, yet
I am sure every individual, if they read and study the
information, know pretty well within themselves where it is
speaking of them, or not in a general way, and 99% of them
tell us they have proven to be most interesting and helpful
experiences in their lives.
"The work and the reading of the book is causing a great deal
of interest in England at the present time, and I wonder what
will happen when the war is over. We have quite a number of
requests from individuals there.
"It is certainly fine that you can see yourself in the
information that is given. That possibly will be the way in
which you can make the suggestions made more helpful to you.
If there is any possibility of our making the information
more helpful to you by trying to answer any of the questions
for you or your doctor, let us know. There are many
references made in the Life Reading to various periods
where we may have had some association or other information,
because the periods are just stuck in now and then and yet we
have been able to get a pretty good back-ground of history of
some of the individual periods.
"I wish and hope that it will be possible for you to visit
Va. Beach sometime.
"I know so long as we live, and am in hopes the little
boys and babies who grow up, will enjoy and appreciate
the pictures that you prepared for us.
"Do let us hear from you. Thank you and with every good
wish, I remain..."
4/05/64 Dr. [
3393]'s letter: "I was one of the ones
fortunate enough to have a reading by Mr. Cayce along with
Dr. [
3394] and Mrs. [
3706] of ... Both Dr. [
3394] and Mrs.
[
