EC: Now the abnormal conditions in this body, Mrs. [
3716]
we are speaking of, are produced by a specific condition
that has existed in the body from times back and the gradual
development has brought about the abnormal condition. Now
these are the conditions as we find in this system, the
circulation first; we find the blood flow normal in its
rebuilding quality except the lucosite [leucocytes] are more
numerous than should be in a normal body and have something
to do with the condition that exists in the system. There is
some temperature at times produced from this condition. It
comes, that is the temperature, from the condition existing
in the lumbars with its reflex to the hepatics producing the
over-stimulation to certain portions of the circulation or
causing temperature. The action of the forces as produced
throughout the system, when this occurs, causes the condition
existing between the nerve forces and the blood supplying
centers in the nervous system. We find there the specific
condition producing the abnormal condition in this body
here, Mrs. [
3716] we are speaking of. At the fourth lumbar
ganglion there has been a leison [lesion] formed from the
conditions existing in the body from lacerations produced
at the time gestation was formed in the pelvis, this gradual
growing about this ganglion produced such congestion in the
subro-spinal [cerebro-spinal] nervous system as to cause,
first, a form of ataxia through the locomotory nerves, then
sympathetically taken up through the sacrum nerve centers
producing partial paralysis to the muscular forces that are
governed by these nerves throughout the system. The rest
of the organisms or functioning of the organs, we find are
worked through the natural and physical means to eliminate,
producing an overtaxed condition through the action of the
kidneys and of the liver. These are the eliminating actions
of these organs, hence, producing part of the temperature in
the system as was given before. The heart action is through
sympathetic forces. This effect is from the fourth lumbar.
The digestive tract reflects sympathetically through the
liver and kidneys in attempting to eliminate these conditions
in the channels of the amuntory [emunctory] forces. To
assist this body is to be relieved of this condition, we
would not give medicinal properties into the system save at
times to relieve pain and at others to assist the amuntories
[emunctories] and lymphatics to relieve forces or causes more
extraordinary functioning of the amuntory [emunctory] organs
in the liver and kidneys, or give only medicinal properties
that will cause functioning of both liver and kidneys.
We would produce heat through the lumbar regions or organs
by application through steam or vapor baths. This should be
taken every third day and relax by osteopathic forces on the
forces along the sacrum and along the whole regions of the
lumbar and to the ninth and tenth dorsal, stimulating the
solar plexus ganglion to produce normal relief to these
portions of the body. In this way we would eliminate, with
the medicinal properties, the waste matter or used forces of
the body.
(Q) Should this body have a special diet?
(A) No, only what the system calls for. The body will
handle anything in the system, that the mind calls for.
This is not a dietetical condition.
