EC: Yes, we have the body here - this we have had before.
Now, MANY conditions are bettered with this body than that
as we had before. However, as was given, with the changes as
wrought with those conditions administered, we find there are
OTHER troubles now apparently arising. These are more from
retraction than from disordered conditions, yet the condition
must be met, would the better physical forces come for the
body. A matter of diet and of that which will, added to
the system, create a nominal equilibrium in the assimilating
and the distribution through the system. Do not neglect the
manipulations, but these may be made farther apart, and there
should be used at least a tablespoonful to a tablespoonful
and a half of Milk of Magnesia for the acid and the tendency
for gas to form in the stomach. Well, too, were the
vibrations of as much olive oil as the body can assimilate be
taken. This will have much food value for the body. Begin
with the small dose, but continue to increase until there
is as much as the body may assimilate. Be sure this is pure
olive oil, and that not sufficient is taken that the system
cannot handle and it (the oil) become rancid in the system,
but that which the body will assimilate; for, with the
massage and with the addition of the Magnesia, this will
be as a lubricant to the system and aid the digestive and
assimilating system in caring for that taken.
The diet being principally of properties that are green
vegetable, and of liquids, until the body is rid of the
gaseous conditions as form from improper fermentation in
the system. Also we would add a mild stimuli in the form of
ANY element carrying alcohol; as beer, or wine, or spirits
frumenti if WEAKENED. Only sufficient to add enough of
alcoholic INFLUENCE to cause proper fermentation, and without
causing the system to produce gas in the intestines. The
diet followed closely, using browned whole wheat bread
PRINCIPALLY. No white bread, and not any apples unless
cooked. Fruits and vegetables of all characters, though it
may be necessary to change same from time to time. There
will be found at times some will agree when at other times
they will disagree, until the system reaches the proper
adjustments. Do that. Spinach, kale, and such, are
especially good for the body. We are through for the
present.

REPORTS
12/03/28 Mrs. [
1100]'s letter: "Have been intending
writing you ever since receiving the last reading for my
father-in-law but have not done so. He is feeling real
well again, since following suggestions, and we certainly are
indebted to you for the help you have been able to give.
"We were sorry, indeed, not to be able to come down on Nov.
11th but we were with you in spirit and you certainly have
our sincerest wishes for the success of the tremendous
undertaking which you have begun. It is bound to succeed,
Mr. Cayce, as it is dedicated to the uplift of humanity
and the great Masters will see that it does."
12/26/28 "My father-in-law is much better now and we feel
that he is going to be alright. He was very sick when I
called you and for a few days we felt quite concerned about
him. Before this spell, he was feeling unusually well, due
to following your kind suggestions and, of course, he
had to overdo. He bowled 3 games on Wed. before he took sick
on Sat. Then he took bromo-quinine and all in all it was too
much for his heart. He is 70 yrs. of age and bowling is much
to strenuous for him, but because he looks so much younger
and had always been well and strong, he feels that he should
be able to do the things that he has always done, but we
can't fool old Mother Nature, can we?"
1/24/29 "No doubt you will be surprised to learn that Mr.
[
3728] died on Jan. 9th. We have just ret'd from Chicago
where his body was taken for burial. We had no idea the end
was so near and had hopes up to the day before his death.
It certainly seemed the working of Fate, Mr. Cayce, that we
couldn't get a reading for him during his last spell. At
first you were ill with the flu and then he got much better,
so much so that the doctor had dismissed him. Then he
suddenly took a turn for the worse, just the day I rec'd
your letter saying that you were up and would resume
your work, soon. I tried to get you when we discovered he
was so much worse, but found you had gone to N.Y. and your
father did not know where you could be found, so evidently
it was intended that way."
