This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 10th day of November, 1924, in accordance with request made by self - [3741].

TEXT

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will give the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.
2. EC: Now we find there are some abnormal conditions with this body. Some that may be corrected, others that may be assisted to assist in correction of physical forces in the body. The seat of the troubles that may be assisted is in the nerve system and the effect as is produced in the functioning of organs in the body.
3. Now these are conditions as we find them in this body, [3741], we are speaking of, present in this room. First:
4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find this deficient in many respects. In the blood itself we find the red blood being taxed and attacked proper by the white blood forces in the body, and that the system through certain functioning organs taxes the blood supply, or the blood becomes infectious through the capillary circulation and the eliminations in circulation (blood supply we are speaking of) has become so directed that the eliminations in proper centers has become very deficient in the body.
5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, in this we find again the assistance to the general condition in the blood supply. In the 6th and 7th dorsal we find impingements that deflect the excretory system in its functioning, especially in the liver in the nerves that excite the emunctories and lymphatics in the organ itself. This deflects the circulation and causes the toxins in the system to infect the circulation of the capillary and lymphatic centers in exterior portions, and especially on the extremities of the body, for the circulation through this deflection becomes deep seated rather than full capillary, and the vein circulation is impaired. In the centers then that direct the functioning of the liver, and the secondary centers from these, especially in hypogastrics, show how the taxing comes to the kidneys, and when these are super-active, or over-active, the condition is assisted in the body. This tends, through the circulation of intestines too, to cause the conditions as exist through this portion of the body.
6. IN THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, in brain forces body very good. Active beyond the use the body uses.
7. In sensory organs all very good, when the condition is taken into consideration of the rest of the body especially.
8. Throat, bronchials, larynx, very good.
9. Lungs depressed at times, or short breath. Again the body takes deep breaths to give the full equilibrium. Circulation produces this, not organic conditions.
10. Heart's forces subnormal and overactive and vice versa, according to the condition in the elimination.
11. Stomach shows the effect of poor circulation through the liver. The liver subnormal in size. The emunctories do not function properly. Lack of the incentive through the impingement in the dorsal region. The upper digestion shows the effect of this condition in the body.
12. Kidneys not normal, yet not organically deranged.
13. Then to bring the better results to the body, and to correct these conditions, we would first give that in the system that would give the correct incentives to the organs of elimination to function properly; that is, prepare the system first for the corrections in the dorsal region, and then stimulate all excretory system, and the nerve centers that are released, and we will bring the better conditions to the body. Taking, then, this first:

    Syrup Sarsaparilla........................2 ounces,
Syrup or Fluid Extract Wild Cherry Bark...2 ounces,
Fluid Extract Stillingia..................2 ounces,
Fluid Extract Yellow Dock Root............1 ounce,
Fluid Extract Poke Root...................1 ounce.

14. Add to this sufficient simple syrup to make 12 ounces. The dose would be teaspoonful three times each day, until the greater, or until three-fourths of this has been taken. Then, through deep manipulations, osteopathically, reduce the condition in the dorsal region, 6th and 7th, 8th and 9th, reflexly. This will stimulate also the whole excretory system. At the same time taking those vibrations of the violet ray, using the heavier applicator, for three minutes each evening. Do not take this while medicinal properties are being taken, but after all of this has been taken. Begin with osteopathic treatments before the whole quantity is taken.
15. Reduce the condition in cuticle by using the properties as would be found in chalk and of boracic acid to prevent the irritation, equal parts rubbed on body when irritation is severe.
16. Do this. We will bring the better and the near normal conditions for this body, [3741].
