Dear Mr. [
3743]:-
Yours of the 6th, also of the 24th, to hand. I have been ill
myself, is why I haven't replied to yours of the 6th sooner -
but after received yours of the 24th I felt possibly it was
providential, for it seems it was unnecessary to go into that
phase of the question.
I'm trusting that the information gotten here will be helpful
and beneficial to you.
Mr. and Mrs. Kahn spent a portion of their vacation here. I
saw them and talked with them several times. He told me he
had seen and talked with you.
Yes, I am in hopes that you will find, and have found, the
work interesting enough for you to desire to become a Life
Member. It is through these sources that we are hoping to be
able to serve mankind. Naturally, we are glad to have those
interested who are interested in that, and in every portion
of our work. The hospital building is coming along very
nicely, and of course we need contributions and are glad when
people find it in their hearts to help us out. I just wish
that you would endow one of these rooms, and let us put your
name - or Mrs. [...]'s name - over the door. I'm sure it
would be a memorial to you that in the years to come your
boys would be proud of.
Thanking you for your interest, and trusting you will arrange
to get down to Virginia Beach sometime in the near future
- asking to be remembered to Mrs. [...] and with kindest
personal regards to yourself, I am
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce EC:GD

Dear Mr. [
3743]:-
I think you have been promising yourself that you would
look in on what we are undertaking here. Now on the 11th we
are to have a special meeting. You no doubt (as a member)
will receive your notice regarding it, but I want to add a
personal word and say that I would like very much for you to
make an effort to be with us at that time. I believe it will
do you good to meet many of those that are interested in the
work, and to know the character and calibre of men. I'm sure
you would find it all worth while. Won't you please come?
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce EC:GD
