4/15/27 EC's letter:
Dear Mrs. [
3750]:
Your wire received, and the reading was taken just as soon
as possible. You know we have a great many requests on hand
at all times, and we try to keep them in order by responding
to the requests as we receive them. Occasionally it happens
that people, after making requests for readings, decide that
they do not care to have the appointment kept. It was such
an occasion that enabled us to get this as soon as we did
- but I realize, from the information as gotten, that your
condition - while serious - has been of long standing, and
you have good days and bad days.
Now, I have no suggestions to offer, other than as are made
in the information. I know that we have had conditions
described as somewhat similar in character, and where the
suggestions were followed out, people got results. You, of
course, will know better than possibly anyone can tell how
well the reading fits your own condition. If it coincides
with the conditions as you know them, or as you feel them
within your own self, I feel very sure, if you will carry
out the suggestions, you will be the gainer thereby. As
you will notice, the information given at present is only
as preparation for the real change that has to take place.
I only wish that our institution was in running order at
present, where you might come and have the benefit of these
suggestions being carried out in the minutest detail. I am
sure Miss Kahn has told you of many cases that have received
wonderful benefits from suggestions given through these
readings, even where all else had failed, and even some of
the best and most noted physicians in the whole world had
said there was no hope. I do not say this as bragging, (but
I realize I do not understand the work), but I have seen
most wonderful results where the individual was able to apply
information given in their own lives and conditions. I'm
just hoping and trusting that such will prove the case with
you.
Please sign the enclosed appointment card, as it is our
regular record and method of keeping track of those we try
to assist, and we shall appreciate it if you will let us
hear from you from time to time, for we assure you it is
our desire to be of help if possible.
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce EC:GD
