5/28/49 Linden Shroyer's report continued [from 3751-1]:
"In June, 1923 Mr. Cayce came to Dayton, Ohio, and this was
the first time I listened to a reading. He lay down on my
bed and gave the reading. When he woke up he rubbed his eyes
and asked me to show him the way to the bathroom so he could
wash his face. While we were in the bathroom he said, 'I can
see that you are skeptical and I don't blame you - I don't
want anyone to swallow the thing without being convinced. If
it's a fake I want to be shown. I don't want to do anything
that isn't right. I would like for you to listen to as many
of these readings as you can - see if you can find anything
that you believe to be wrong.'
"I was in a position at that time to witness two readings
each day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, which
I did.
"The 'abrasions' on the boy [
3751] diminished from around one
hundred and seventy-five (175) to THREE (3), these being on
his eyes and one wrist..." [See continuation of LS' report
