TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. We have had this before, you see. While the conditions in the body are a great deal different from those we have had before, the condition at the present time as we see is a slowing up of the heart forces as produced by improper elimination through the system, and by congestion as is caused through portions of the body, the hindrance in the circulation in the heart forces produced by congestion over the system that as shown in the lower portion of the body where injuries have shown in the system and a shock to these that cut off elimination in the kidneys and affect this system throughout. The other organs, the lungs, bronchials, we find much of the same forces as we have had before.
2. To adjust conditions we would have that of the Chiropractic forces as applied to the body to dilate or expand through the lung forces, so contract the muscular forces in and about the solar plexus, to stimulate through the cardiac forces, the heart action, and reduce by relaxation that in the abdominal region and that, that affects the locomotories and this portion of the body. Stimulate circulation both through this force and through that of forces as would be reached in dire necessity, or stimulate through the heart forces themselves, you see, but through the other forces would be better than through medicinal forces. Do that.
3. (Q) How often should the chiropractic treatments be given?
   (A) Necessary that they be given pretty regular until some improvement is shown, if we do something for this condition through this means.
4. (Q) How long should she take the treatments?
   (A) Until there is no necessity.

REPORTS

1. 5/17/24 Son [294] said [3776] had suffered 35 yrs. with asthma, rdgs. had made life bearable for her.
2. 8/01/24 Daughter Miss [243]'s letter: "Mama got all upset over me (being sick) and got her stomach all to pieces. She has been in bed now for 3 days threatened with colitis or rather the trouble she had last summer. She is up out of bed today but she looks and feels so bad I am worried about her. I asked her to please stay in bed and she said if she were to give up she wouldn't last any time. I told Dr. Bell and he said, 'Well, I am afraid she is right.' I feel like she has worried herself into this spell, though, and if she could get something to eat that agreed with her she would soon feel better. Now I want you to give a reading for her. I feel like you will tell us a tonic or something to build her up. Dr. Bell is keeping close watch over her and he said he thought if it turned a little cooler she would respond to the medicine better."
3. 8/05/24 See 3776-3.
4. 3/15/35 Son's ltr.: "My mother was a sufferer for almost all the years I knew her. She had asthma for years and years, until about six years before her death (in Oct. 1926), when something was given in one of her readings that helped her, and if you have ever seen one suffer with such a thing as that you realize what suffering is."
