In and about the vicinity, over the same grounds, we also
find where there has recently - today - been some
explorations. In the west portion and to the south, the
place where we would first attempt to locate same, or this
first cache - the greater quantity lies there, as we find.
Where the tree, that has died - but where there are
indications yet of it having been a large tree, under the
extended branches of same - in '42, as we find - the first
quantity put there. Later in '61 there was another near the
same place. These were put by individuals seeking to escape
from their individual surroundings. We would seek out his
portion or side of hill, using those aids and helps as may
make for the indications and for the definite location of
same. Do that. Ready for questions.
(Q) Would it be advisable to use the electrical instrument
for locating buried metals on this location?
(A) That's just as given. Use same for making specific
locations, for while there will be seen in the operation of
same a confusion when the specific spot is to be located, but
in the uncovering will be found that the TWO is indicated -
as well as this once having been used as an Indian burying
ground - see? will make some difference. The indications
and the depths, and those things as necessary, may be
followed WHEN locations - and definite locations - have been
made, as are indicated by the operating of the locater itself
- see?
(Q) Could this treasure be located satisfactorily from the
gum tree which we marked this morning on the west side of
White Hill?
(A) Indicate this with the tree as spoken of, including gum
- and around this whole area, see? using about ten to twelve
feet southwest by south from this snag or portion of tree.
This, then, will include the gum - see - to the west.
(Q) How far is it from the water edge?
(A) Well, we have many waters - and we have much change in
same. Do some work to find anything, if you're going to use
it!
(Q) What is the amount of the treasure?
(A) This sufficient to use the real efforts for the locating
of same! for it will be more than a million - see?
(Q) Any further information that would be of help?
(A) Let's do something first - and then we may give more!
(Q) Who is giving this information?
(A) This from more than one, for there's been more than one
indicated as have had to do with not only those of the
natives - that seek that some changes be made - but the
GENERAL information for those seeking same. We are through
for the present.
