1/30/57 GD's note: Mr. and Mrs. Cayce used to live across
the street from Mr. [
3817], and told about the night he died
approximately
8-10 years prior to the reading, screaming in
agony. Apparently he died of acute indigestion, or something
of that nature. They could hear him screaming the night he
died, across the street.
EC told of another case where they were trying to get a
reading on EC, and the person conducting the reading gave the
number of the building across the street, instead of the
correct number of the room in which they were taking the
reading. When EC said "We don't find the body here," the
Conductor asked, "What do you find?" and EC replied - "A man
doctoring his books." EC said it was the office of Mr.
[
3817].
The wording of the reading [3817-1] seems to indicate that EC
was arranging with some "on the other side" to help Mr.
[
3817] come to a better adjustment to his situation.
