(Q) Is anyone, unknown to [
3818] planning to guide the
destiny of the Boone Woolen Mills? Will this party or
parties be successful?
(A) As we have given, the destiny of the Boone Woolen Mills
will be in the hands of [
3818] in the final change that
will come, as given, in the re-organization, which should be
brought about, for there are conditions that will be easier
met and liquidations of some of the conditions could be
carried through easier and in a manner that would prove to
the betterment for [
3818]. As to those that are attempting
to guide the destiny of the Boone Mills, we would have
there are some that have considered same, unknown to [
3818].
These, with the re-organization, in the hands of [
3818],
could be and would be over-ridden. Do that.
(Q) Will [
3818] realize on Eddy Paper Company stock, and how
long will it take?
(A) That do not find. Don't get connection here.
(Q) Will there be any change in the [
3818] banking
connections, or their good will toward [
3818]'s?
(A) Should not be any change. There will not be change
in good will, but rather an assistance. We will find this
tested in the re-organization. Stick close to that.
(Q) Will A. G. Becker be able to carry out his plans in
regard to [
3818]?
(A) He should be. There will be some hindrances. He should
be. He WILL carry out the plans.
(Q) Shall [
3818] take part in operating [
3818] Brothers
Company, or is present management satisfactory?
(A) Take part, actively.
(Q) Should [
3818] insist that F. C. Bristol Company
liquidate?
(A) Not just yet. A little bit later, yes.
(Q) Why is it best for [
3818] not to sell Broadway Central
Building?
(A) For property values and locations at the present time
are in the condition to be worth more in the near future.
Would be at a sacrifice at present. It could be worth more
held as it is at present.
(Q) How long a delay will there be in closing negotiations
between Blake Brothers and Daniel Boone Woolen Mills?
(A) We don't find negotiations being closed as at present
set. With some changes there will be a close, but not as
present set. This, we see, might be effective in September
- 6th.
(Q) Is the position of Ben Block, or Block, Maloney
& Company, favorable to an advance in Boone Stock. If
not, why not?
(A) Favorable.
(Q) What will be the reason for re-organization of the
Daniel Boone Woolen Mills?
(A) As we have given, for the betterment of the conditions
for [
3818], make that effective.
(Q) When is improvement coming in Boone Stock Market?
(A) Very shortly, beginning in the early part of next week.
(Q) If [
3818] builds a paper mill in Chicago, how many tons
of paper per day will its capacity be?
(A) This we have with an "if". In the building of paper
mill as we have given, this would be good for the interests
of [
3818] and could be carried to be effective, for there are
many conditions in the affairs that have been and that may
come in the good for [
3818].
(Q) When will International Lamp pay the notes at
Greenebaum's Bank that are endorsed by [
3818]?
(A) These, we see, will be paid in part and a change made to
the endorsement, and on the second call will be paid.
(Q) Where should [
3818] buy site for paper mill and how
large?
(A) These are conditions that must be met with, and by the
intent and purpose of the organization, and not governed
from here. Those are conditions that may arise, and not
at present here.
