In the effects that come FROM this reflex, we have those
conditions in the lymph and the capillary circulation, that
becomes irritating to the sympathetic nerve system, and
a resulting of a TINGLING over the whole system, with
a smothering feeling following same. These are MOSTLY
sympathetic, but HAVE a definite basis or condition that
produces same, as given. Also those conditions in the
cerebro-spinal centers, that exist in the 5th, 4th, 3rd
CERVICAL area, give that effect that is seen in the central
circulation, to the head - and affects at times the SENSORY
system, as the ringing or the tingling in ear, the condition
in speech, in the feeling, and in the vision at times. These
are MOSTLY, as we find, of a TEMPORARY nature - but very
disconcerting to the body, especially when there are pains in
the head toward the top portion, as follow same, that makes
for a tendency of the body desiring to MOVE, or change, or
dissatisfaction in the various conditions.
IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, in the brain
forces, these are very good.
In the organs of the sensory system, affected sympathetically
and directly by both the secondary - or the auxiliary heart
lesion, and those in the upper portion in the cervical area.
Throat, bronchi, lungs - these do not disturb as much
in the PRESENT as they have in the past; though at times
occasionally give discomfort. Lungs themselves nominally
under the constrained condition that exists in the
circulation, for they are apparently at times - with the
heart's disorder or disactions in the functioning - producing
a fullness through same. Not wholly as that of a spasmodic
asthmatic condition, but a fullness in which the blood
apparently fails to leave same.
In the heart's action itself, here - as we find - a great
deal of the condition is SYMPATHETIC, and also of a reflex
nature. These, as indicated from the pressures that exist
in the cerebro-spinal system, from which impulses radiate the
activity of same with the cerebro-spinal nervous system, that
of the reflex being through the sympathetic system.
In the digestive system - since there has been so much care
as respecting the replenishing of the blood supply, the nerve
energies of the system - these show a bettered condition.
There HAS existed disturbances there, that have been rather
straining on the whole general system.
The liver - this needs attention; that is, under the distress
in which the circulation has been impaired - both as in
times previous and as in the present condition - unless the
excretory as well as the secretive functioning of the organ
as a whole is kept in as near normal manner as possible,
there must become greater disorders in the heart's reaction;
for the LIVER may contain two-thirds of the blood supply
itself, while the HEART'S action may - in its pumping, in its
activity - only retain a small portion compared to the liver
or the organ itself. While these may clarify, this must be
kept in accord - so that, with resuscitation and recuperation
of the blood stream itself, with the removal of the pressures
in the cerebro-spinal centers as to allow normalcy, the
rebuilding of tissue, muscular tissue, muscular plasm in the
system, may be kept in a normal manner - as should be the
eliminations from the system themselves. With the natural
sedentary activities of the body (which in itself for the
body is an abnormalcy), there comes the tendency for the
system not to ELIMINATE the poisons of the system, this
throwing - through the conditions that exist in the colon
itself at times - a distress on the kidneys that makes for
that heaviness in the lower limbs, and the tendency for a
filling up of the circulation in the lower extremities, and
aching across the locomotaries in the lower regions. These
are from poisons, and - SYMPATHETICALLY - the hepatic
circulation becoming such that the liver suffers, or attempts
to carry on some of the functioning in its eliminating region
or area, that makes hard for the blood supply and for the
disorder in the heart's action itself, the pulsations and
the activities.
Now, in meeting the needs of these conditions, as we find:
First there must be consistency as well as persistency upon
the part of the body itself. Do not become over anxious
about the conditions, so as to become as one that is in
a hurry - or flurry - about IMMEDIATE change; for, as the
condition has been slow in asserting itself, so in the
BEGINNING - especially - will it be slow in adjusting itself,
and we must meet - or be prepared to meet - those conditions
that must turn the system to a REPLENISHING, rather than a
deteriorating condition in the muscular forces of the heart
or the organ itself as to its VALVULAR forces, as to the
aorta artery itself, as to the lungs turning forces into
heart's action.
Remove those pressures in the cerebro-spinal system by the
dorsal and cervical area especially, COORDINATING the rest
of the cerebro-spinal system by the general manipulations of
same occasionally. These, as we find, would be well in the
beginning, to have the manipulations at least every day - but
not DEEP manipulations, or even CORRECTIVE measures every day
- for these have been long in forming and must be gradual in
their change.
Rest, but also keep sufficient activity as much in the open -
especially in the sunshine - as is possible.
Well to add those stimulating forces of the ultra violet,
especially on dark days, and the Infra Red at least once a
week for the structural portions of the system, as related
to the supplies of the system.
In the matter of diet and elimination, these should be
watched after carefully, that there is an even balance
kept; not allowing too much acid nor too much alkalin to be
present, for one is as detrimental to such conditions as the
other.
Use the colonics occasionally, not sufficient to produce
irritation but to prevent any toxic forces from disturbing
liver or circulation - either through the digestive organs
or the kidneys, or liver. In this manner and in this way.
We will find occasionally the necessity of a stimulation
for the circulatory forces, but keep as far from same as
the whole mental and physical being will allow. Ready for
questions.
(Q) Is medical or non-medical treatment best?
(A) Hasn't it just been given?
(Q) Is a blood builder needed?
(A) Indicated from anemia!
(Q) Would you recommend any of the patent medicine blood
builders, such as S.S.S.?
(A) These are better builded by nature itself! In an even
diet as for blood building, and sunshine, than nostrums
that MUST exercise some specific effect upon the organs
themselves. CLEANSE the system in this body, as has been
indicated, cleansing the system of toxic forces, supplying
the nerve energy that may be released from impingements
existent in cerebro-spinal system. NATURE is the best
medicine! Manipulations are the best for the relieving of
PHYSICAL conditions that cause specific distresses. Let
nature and the mind itself SEE self improving. HOLD the
idea, the ideal. That as desired may be builded.
(Q) Does he dress too warmly, or not warmly enough?
(A) In the present surroundings and conditions, it would
be found necessary to change to meet the variations that may
arise. Keep as little clothing as is possible to keep the
body warm; remembering this condition exists, however, as has
been indicated. The circulation is tending to be internal
rather than external, and the body easily chills at times -
which isn't very good.
(Q) Would doctors and apparatus at Johns-Hopkins be of
benefit for an examination?
(A) Be of benefit for an examination, not for cures! Unless
such as have been indicated here might be followed! As we
find it!
(Q) Would you recommend such an examination?
(A) Will not be of harm, but he has the condition as
presented here. Use his own discretion.
(Q) What one thing disturbs body most?
(A) Pressure in the sympathetic or cardiac plexus.
(Q) What next in importance?
(A) In the cervicals, that disturb the upper portion, as
has been outlined, for the tingling sensation that comes
over from the upper bronchi region.
(Q) Would some other climate better suit body than at Perry
Point, Maryland, upper end of Chesapeake Bay?
(A) The more sunshine, or the more activities that may bring
the better condition. As soon as weather permits, as we
would find in the present surroundings, sand packs would
be the MOST beneficial - that that carries radium and gold.
(Q) Does climate affect body much?
(A) As indicated, that with the internal circulation the
stronger, the capillary circulation low, a climate MUST
affect the body.
(Q) Does the body lack in any of the known vitamins?
(A) It lacks in those of the stamen, [stamina] or C.
Indicated from the characterization and the plasm that
makes for a white element in the leukocyte.
(Q) How about commercially prepared vitamins, such as
Squibb's products?
(A) Those of nature themselves are the better, though
these may be resorted to if they are not obtainable in
the surroundings - but they are!
(Q) In case of a severe attack, what is first best thing to
do?
(A) Relieve the pressure, which may be necessary by relaxing
the whole system.
(Q) Is temperature at 98-F too low?
(A) Too low, but not abnormal for the body's condition.
(Q) If so, what is best way to raise it?
(A) This has been outlined.
(Q) If heart condition is corrected, would temperature
correct itself?
(A) It would.
(Q) Is there any focus of infection in the teeth or tonsils?
(A) As has been indicated, this is a place of IMPULSES -
though for specific, or focal infection, as we find, it does
not exist at present; though there ARE times - for, as the
tonsils are scavengers of the blood through a portion of
the system, these make for impulses that cause disorders,
especially when there are pressures in the cervical area -
as indicated.
Do as we have outlined, as we would find, and we would bring
the better conditions for this body.
(Q) Would blood transfusion help body?
(A) Not NECESSARY at the present time.
That is all the questions.
We are through for the present.
