IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, with this condition existent in the
blood supply, naturally there are conditions in the nerve
system that are deficient, as well as there being specific
centers in the cerebro-spinal system that shows the lesions
are in these ganglions that hinder the correct incentive to
organs and in keeping the equilibrium throughout the system.
Such a lesion has existed for the period that the sensory
system, especially, has become involved, and added with other
conditions in eliminations, these become cloaked, or
clogged, at times, and the eye, the ear, the throat, and
even the reflex in the touch, or the reaction in same, shows
the effect of such conditions; yet this at times becomes
accentuated in various portions of the sensory system which
might be called peculiar, as it were, to this individual
condition as exists in the 3rd, 4th, 5th, cervical region,
and the 3rd and 4th plexus, for here we find the extenuation
of that ganglion with the sympathetic nerve system that is
to this body OVER active. We find there are times that
conditions easily irritate the body, and at others the body
STANDS conditions when to some these would appear to be of
an irritating nature to this body.
IN THE ORGANS OF THE SYSTEM, in the brain forces we find
these very good.
In the throat, bronchials, lungs, and larynx: The throat
and the organs and tissue there shows the effect of the
disturbed circulation and lack of the proper eliminations
from the body.
The lungs, while not organically disturbed, show the effect
of the disturbed circulation - though, were these conditions
corrected we would find the soon improvement in the
respiratory system.
Heart's action, from the circulation and the nerve system,
shows its effect - though not organic conditions.
In the digestive system, here we find again a seat or a cause
of conditions in system. In the pyloric end of the stomach
there have been those condition that prevented the proper
assimilations in the body. With the increased circulation
necessary to bring about the rebuilding for the system, the
body became unbalanced in the metabolism of the system.
The pancreas and the spleen both show the effect of this
condition, though this improved from that that has existed
in the system, and the mesenteric system becoming involved
in this condition brings again a hardship on the nerve plexus
duplicated this portion of body.
With this increased condition, the liver, the kidneys, show
how that each in turn and in their cycle have been INVOLVED
in the condition.
In the lower digestive system, or in the intestinal
digestion, rather the effects; and the condition in colon
shows effects of that as was produced in the lower portion
of stomach.
To meet the needs of the conditions of the body at the
present would be to add that vibration to the system in such
a way and manner as to overcome these conditions as have
existed, and as do exist, in the present physical forces.
First, we would cleanse the system with pure water. Drink
PLENTY of water for at least three days, before any medicinal
properties of any character are taken in system, so that the
intestinal system, the kidneys, and the liver, will be
flushed, as it were, with the water supply.
Then we would prepare and take as this: Preparing this first
as the carrier:
To eight (8) ounces of distilled water, add six (6) ounces
Wild Cherry Bark. Reduce by simmering (not boiling) to
one-half (1/2) the quantity. Then strain and add four (4)
ounces of beet sugar, as dissolved in four (4) ounces
distilled hot water. Then add to that of the other solution,
reducing again to the original quantity - one-half (1/2) of
the first quantity, see? Then add:
Compound Syrup Sarsaparilla..........1/2 ounce,
Tincture Stillingia..................1/4 ounce,
Syrup Compound of Yellow Dock Root...1/2 ounce,
Elixir Calisaya......................1/2 ounce,
10% solution Iodide Potassium.........20 minims,
10% solution Bromide Potassium........30 minims.
Then add two (2) drams Balsam of Tolu cut in two (2) ounces
of pure grain alcohol.
Shake solution well before dose is taken, which would be half
teaspoonful four (4) times each day.
After at least half the quantity has been taken, correct by
deep manipulations, OSTEOPATHICALLY given, those lesions in
the cervical and the central dorsal region, emptying at the
time the gall ducts, that the system may clarify itself.
When six (6) such treatments have been taken, we will find
the body will respond then to the vibration as will be set
in the Double X Radium Appliance, that will clarify the
blood stream and electrify the nerve energy, bringing the
near normal condition of this body.
Do that. Ready for questions.
(Q) Where should the Radium Appliance be worn?
(A) This should be worn across the solar plexus. Do not
wear appliance until the medicinal properties have had their
effect and ADJUSTMENTS have been made! Do not have
adjustments until at least half the medicinal quantity has
been taken, for the system should be prepared for the correct
elimination by the adjustments, and the adjustments should
be made that the vibration as set in blood and nerve system
will be clarified by the radiation from the Radium Active
Appliance - for these are not of hereditary or environmental;
rather that of the lack of proper attention when the body
was much younger in years, and some indiscretion in eating.
Be careful in the diet, that there is not caused any undue
taxation to the mesenteric system, either by the bringing
about of too laxative forces or too much constipation. Do
not eat much meats. Little meats. No high spiced or high
seasoned foods. Rather those that produce salines and keep
the system balanced in the alkaline and acid forces of the
body.
Do that.

5/05/27 EC's letter to Miss Sidelman, DEK's sec'ty: We are
indeed keeping quite busy, and recently we have had more than
the usual number of people present at their readings.
Naturally, when we do, we hear more comments from them, than
we do from those whom the readings are sent to by mail and
whom we never see. All of these have been very enthusiastic
as regarding the information as was received. Yesterday
afternoon there was a friend or relative of someone Dave met
in New York some months ago, out from Norfolk, and when we
were through, the gentleman and his wife (who were present at
the reading) said: "Well, Mr. Cayce, I have been having this
trouble for twenty years. I've been to doctors in all parts
of the country. You're the first person that has ever told
me what is the matter with me, without examining me and
questioning me for two or three days, and you have told it a
whole lot better than any of the forty to fifty doctors I
have ever been to. Naturally, I believe you know what
you're talking about. I don't know how you do it, but it's
marvellous! Most wonderful thing I ever saw!" Of course
such expressions are very gratifying, but it's MORE SO when
people tell us like one did just a few days ago: "Well, I
