EC: Yes, we have him here. We have in this case, beginning
here at the head a peculiar condition along the spine,
beginning at the first cervical and extending downward, which
affects the blood supply and also the nerve force to the
head, the facial muscles, the neck and shoulders, until we
have a condition that effects both the solar plexuses and the
secondary or inferior cardiac plexus and also the upper
cardiac plexus somewhat. We have lesions here along this
spine, floating lesions which has effected the nerve supply
or nerve stimulation to the internal viscera. Now we find
you see, local stationary lesions, but they seem to come and
go, this is particularly noticeable here at the eighth dorsal
where it effects the solar plexus. We have a gathering of
the forces here or an over supply of nerve energy which seems
to center itself at this point. As a result of which we have
a lack of stimulation in the digestive tract, that is the
nerve force is impeded. The action of the spleen is also
sluggish. We also have these lesions up here in the cervical
region which produce at times these spasmodic pains that pass
through the head and face and also radiates down the spine.
These come from the lack of equilibrium of nerve and blood
supply at these centers. As a result of these lesions along
the spine we have a lack of nerve force. First we had pain
in the side down here, these forces first exerted themselves
here and the condition has remained and accumulated so long
until nature is unable to throw it off, as a result of
natures effort to over come the toxic conditions in this
system we have produced over stimulation to the heart and in
fact to the entire nervous system of the body, in other words
the nerve force has produced the very condition that it
should have carried away, which has left the body in its
present existing condition. The cerebrospinal system is
probably more affected than the sympathetic, but we also find
that the blood has been impoverished as a result of poor or
mis-proper mastication of the food. The extra energies in
this body has been thrown off rather than stored up in the
system, as a result of this we have a lack of force to carry
on the different organic functions, whereby the nervous
system in itself has suffered.
Treatment: We should first remove these conditions along the
spine, these lesions in the cervical region and also at the
eighth dorsal. We will work on both the blood supply and the
nerve tissue. This will force the supply of energy that has
generated in the intestinal tract back into the tissues,
provided the mental condition is in proper state, otherwise
it will not, and through suggestion to this mind to act on
these forces here in the proper manner will bring about good
results. We want suggestion, strong suggestion to the
subconscious mind of this body, so that the blood and nerve
supply can be directed properly. We have a part of this body
in which the condition is good. These lesions or misdirected
nerve force has produced these conditions, as we well know
that misdirected nerve energy brings about such conditions.
This man, Mr. [
3848] that we are talking about here has an
impoverished condition of his blood so to speak. We have a
lack of leucocytes in his blood. We must produce more and
thereby aid the body from interference from the outside by
any organic micro organism that may invade it. This over
taxation of the entire nerve tissue must be regulated and
instead of over taxing it further we must stimulate both the
nerve and blood supply which will enrich the blood itself.
As a result we will have better blood more red corpuscles and
also an equalizing of the whites in this system by equalizing
the circulation, a mild medicinal treatment into the stomach,
this can be brought about.
We will take first phosphate of soda, alternate it say every
other day with bicarbonate of soda. This will produce an
alkaline condition. Follow this with mild doses of
strychnine, not enough strychnine to produce an over
stimulation, but just enough to mildly stimulate the
digestive functions and also the nerve force. Now we will
have to relax these conditions along the spine by osteopathic
manipulation with the hands, and also electrical treatment.
The manipulation with the hands is to relax the muscles and
the electricity is to equalize the nerve stimulation which
will allow both the blood and nerve supply to be equalized,
in other words to allow it to supply the entire body
properly. We will fist have to reduce these lesions in the
spine that are existing here as these lesions are affecting
the blood supply and also the nerve force to the head of

3848], that is the cortex of the brain here.
As these conditions are removed and as the blood supply is
rebuilded the whole system will be helped. Also by
stimulating the splenic action the nerve force and blood
supply will rebuild in itself renewed energy. This will take
it all away.
