7/20/31 Mr. [
279]'s letter to [
3861] [dictated to GD]:
My dear Uncle [
3861]
I am enclosing your copy of the reading. It was unusual in
many respects. As a rule when the reading is taken with a
combination of business and physical conditions, there is
quite a bit said about the physical condition of the person.
In your case, it asked for the questions right away without
giving any physical condition. If you will remember, when
you gave me the list of questions you did not ask a single
one about your physical condition but did ask so many about
these different business associations. I am certain,
however, that if you take the Radium Water, as he suggested,
you will be cured of any troubles you have been bothered
with. I am very sorry I am not with you to explain this work
to you, because I feel on the surface of things you might not
appreciate just what this work is.
I had question number eleven asked of my own accord. This
formula which has been given the name of Ipsab is the most
marvellous cure for pyorrhea that has ever been heard of. It
is not new, as Mr. Cayce got this formula in a reading about
fifteen years ago. Several times people have wanted to put
lots of money into this, but because arrangements were not
satisfactory to Mr. Cayce he would not permit it. Now, I am
certain, through my influence and my knowledge of what this
work is doing, that you could get this formula and a
controlling interest in the company for its production, and -
strange as it may seem - it will not cost you any money. The
arrangement will have to be that Mr. Cayce and his associates
have a half interest, or something similar, in the company
when organized. When I say that he has been offered a
tremendous sum for the formula alone, I know what I am
talking about. That is why I want you and Mr. [...] to come
down here this week-end. I don't want you to think I am
dreaming, but if you can't make several millions of dollars
out of this formula by producing it, my name isn't [
279] It
is worth, at least, a hurried trip to Virginia Beach by you
and Mr. [...] if you want Mr. [...] interested in this thing.
I merely mention him because I know he is interested in the
Vitamin Company with you.
Due to the many business questions you asked, you did not get
as full detail regarding your physical condition as I imagine
you would like. However, if you come down this week-end, I
will promise to get you a physical reading while you are
here, where you can see just what is done, and you can have
the physical reading entirely - without any business
questions. This I am willing to guarantee will give you full
advice as to your physical condition.
Of necessity, in explaining these things, this has been a
long letter. Please wire me when you are coming and I will
make reservations for you at the Cavalier Hotel. If you can
arrange to leave New York Friday night, you can be here early
in the morning Saturday, and leave Sunday afternoon and be
home Monday morning early.
With kindest regards, I am
Cordially yours,
7/24/31 See
3861-2.
