Mr. Edgar Cayce,
Hopkinsville, Ky.
My dear Mr. Cayce:
I thank you very much for your kind favor of the 6th inst.,
with the reading on me of July 2nd. I am greatly impressed
with this reading. As far as I can tell you have a correct
view of my situation. In fact it is remarkably surprising to
me on account of the way you seem to have gotten at what I
believe to be the real facts in my case. I shall certainly
take the treatment you outline. I presented it to one of our
leading physicians here today, and he said it was good and
that he believed that you correctly outlined my case. I do
not mean to express my appreciation in words only, but must
not fail at the present time to let you know how grateful I
am to you for your kindness to me in this matter.
I enjoyed every minute I was with you here in Florida, and
really felt sad and lonesome when you left. I shall never
forget you and shall always be greatly interested in your
welfare.
I am going to hold you and my good friend, Mr. Nicodemus to
your promise to visit me next fall or winter so that we may
have time to sport with the game and fish.
I wanted to go to Hopkinsville as soon as I heard you were
there, and should have gone with Mr. McReynolds yesterday had
it not been for matters here that I could not ignore, and
which required my immediate attention.
I want you to let me keep in touch with you, as it is my
purpose to meet you in Texas.
With kindest regards to you and Mr. Nicodemus, I am
Sincerely your friend, [
