5/04/28 EC's letter to Mr. [
3911]:
Mr. [
3911]
Birmingham, Alabama
My dear Mr. [
3911]
I have been quite unwell myself; consequently the delay in
answering yours of the 16th; also in getting the information
off to Mrs. [...] respecting the reading for her boy [
1289].
You know when I get all wrong myself it balls things up for
everybody else - delays the whole works, so to speak; but I
get sick just as everyone else does when I disobey the laws
regarding physical health. I'm in hopes I've gotten myself
in hand well enough to be able to resume the work, and we
trust we will be able to give as much or more assistance in
the future than we have in the past.
I haven't heard from Mr. Norman for some time, and I suppose
they have been somewhat negligent in having the meeting. You
know it's one of those things that is hard to get going
unless someone keeps right after it. Mr. Norman's name and
address is:
J. C. Norman
713 So. 30th St.
Be glad if you'd phone him - see what's the trouble with
them - what he has to say.
Certainly glad to know you are feeling a whole lot better,
and I hope you continue to do so. Be sure and let us hear
from you whenever you have the opportunity. Certainly thank
you for giving me Mrs. [...]'s address, and we hope we may
be able to be of assistance to her.
With kindest personal regards, I am
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce EC:GD
